One of my favorite OSTs of the game. It's so... mystic. I also love the design of the Elden Beast, it's weird enough to have that bit of cosmic horror but it is, most of all, a majestic being.
did beat the beast under 2 minutes amazing fight tho imo good moveset pretty good to read and sickass visuals + music try sticking kinda close and time the dodges on the gold waves right also hit his scar (front part of the chest)
"With Radagon the last protector of the Golden Order defeated, the Greater Will sent down the Elden Beast, which is the embodiment of the Elden Ring. " I think the Elden Beast fears your capability to bring disorder. Even broken, the eldenring was fixed with Marikas body. Breaking the vessel apart, the Elden Ring was shattered even more by your transgression. You brought disorder the moment you chose to burn down the thorns. Its like breaking a churchs door and breaking the cross , then being perplexed to be attacked by an upset priest. Except that priest is a parasitic Nidhöggr type of a dragon parasite sent by the Greater Will and basically hurt the moment you broke its perfect form, the circle. ( Ouroboros )
Sidenote . Marika means Maria. The Ouroboros is connected to the god Mehen. I gues this is where their obsession with M- Names started.. Neith and Mehen are one. Marika and Radagon are..
Scariest thing is that Elden Beast is only a lower god, it's creator and master is a true Outer God, it's essentially a massive attack dog, so i can only imagine how horribly and incomprehensibly beautiful the Greater Will may be
honestly this was a pretty underwhelming final boss gameplay and lore wise i feel like radagon or godfrey would be better candidates or rykard if his position in plot was adjusted for the matter
