Thanks for this detailed exploring of an overlooked but very interesting location in Elden Ring! The Minor Erdtree Church seems to have unique minor Erdtrees, one that are in middle stages between being the "phantom" saplings and the towering trunks of brown bark with golden canopies. The slope with the skulls is curious too, as if either a battle happened there or a graveyard of sorts was pushed upward. That Erdtree Guardian gazing at a tombstone also implies a personal story for even that one enemy. The three Smouldering Butterflies upon the grave, along with Melina's dialogue reciting Marika there (implying Melina was there to hear it), make me wonder if perhaps that's a grave to Melina from the first time she burned herself, as she says she's burned and bodyless in the modern era. By the way, thanks for showcasing what the blooming Erdtree Guardian enemies can do! Those were some fun fights to watch. I noticed that one guardian seemed to extend the branches for its transformed weapon like it'd do a grab attack if it wasn't staggered. What does that animation look like if it plays out? Also, I might just be seeing things, but were those extending branches faintly starting to glow just before the Erdtree Guardian was struck out of the attack?
