ELDEN RING at LEVEL 1 turned me into a different person

I speak for everyone when i say It could be elden ring only all the way till BO6 and i would not be mad.

there is actually some extra dialogue you can get in the stormveil castle where she explains how she is burned and bodiless but also how her mother is locked away in the erdtree basically telling us how she is a daughter of marika but this dialogue is easy to miss if you dont exhaust every possible instance of talking to her at any given grace in the castle and even then they could have definetly expanded on her story since she is almost a main character by helping us

jev i don’t know if you knew but, on the Godskin duo fight, if you kill one of the nobles, and you keep attacking where you killed one of the nobles at right after you kill it, you can get extra damage took off their health bar

I just wanna say you inspired me to start my first lvl 1 run after 10 playthroughs. Just beat Malenia and all other remembrance bosses. Keep making great content and good luck on the rest of your run.

something I learned a few playthroughs in is that you can keep swinging at the godskin duo's "dead body" / mist after you kill them and it will continue to do damage onto the overall health bar at the bottom.

A tip that i think would really help you jev or anyone thats gonna do a rl1 run you can regen your stamina faster by crouching

Jev, you’ve truly made me test myself now. I hope I can do it, I played through the game till ng+3 with the same strength build with two great curved swords and the most defense I could stuff myself with. I just got bored and waited till shadow. I bought the game maybe a yr ago? But after beating shadow I haven’t felt the urge to play Elden ring at all and in my head I was starting to think the gameplay loop was repetitive, which it can be. I decided to at least test myself but doing more of a dex build with and way less defense and no summons. Thank you jev for maybe changing how I go about video games and maybe thing beyond that.❤

to anyone struggling with this duo fight, make sure when you kill the first one you keep attacking. you can get thousands of free damage on the body as it fades out

To add on to the gloam eyed queen theory, the melina we know and love isnt a godkiller which is what is used to describe the gloam eyed queen. this is because when queen marika sent out maliketh to kill the gloam eyed queen but ended up sparing her life (maybe an act of mercy from queen marika) which trasformed melina to who we know now. this just something i stumbled upon before (ps sorry for bad english ;-;)

just so you know for future runs, if you hit the godskin duos bodies even after their hp hits zero, it will still do damage to the overall boss health bar until they disappear and respawn!

During placidusax fight, if you move closer to the wall of the arena during his last fly charge follpwed by yellow laser he lands very close to you and you can get free damage and avoid the laser easily at the same time

Jev, use sleep pots on both of the Godskins. They can both sleep at the same time. Makes it so much easier.

There is another grace near the back right entrance of the Godskin duo fight that you can use to avoid taking damage before entering each attempt. Also for the unamed ancient dragon in between the Godskin duo and Maliketh, the trigger for it fleeing is going into the gazebo behind it.

I feel like you probably know this by this point and weren't thinking about it but when fighting godskin duo, they have a lingering hitbox so after you kill one continuing to attack will do more damage to the overall health until it finishes the death animation. You can also sleep them both at the start with one pot if you learn the lineup

Idk if you knew this jev, but with godskin duo you can still do damage to them when they die. Their hit box remains for a couple seconds for a couple extra hits

In the godskin duo fight, you can still damage the main hp bar, by swinging at the dead body as it fades away

Did the same thing on my rl1. However I just ran out of pots, and didn't feel like getting more. So I just whipped out the black bow, and used sleep arrows! Worked like a charm

I’ve been playing the game for the first time ( bought it and played 3 hours max) mostly cause it was hard and I had no knowledge of the game but with Jev being level 1 motivated me to download it again and my first real run is going well

BTW jev, once you use a pot item, the cracked pot goes back into your inventory. You'll need to find new mushrooms and lilys but those respawn anyway.

I just love how in all of these Souls-borne games and Elden Ring that a lot of the bosses are in some sort of injured state and look like they've been chewed on and I just love to imagine what they would've been like had they not been in those half dead states when you fight them

Jev try out uplifting aeoromatic, it'll be a game changer for late game and DLC. Gives you an attack boost and most importantly ANOTHER BUBBLE so you can take 1 more hit without dying.

Future reference. Light from the back when they are asleep should do crit damage like when you break poise
