The Baldachin's Blessing is brilliant meta-commentary disguised as game design: It's a pretty useful blessing for 5% of your health, which means you get those poise benefits during the start of the fight when you're dealing a ton of damage, then you still have a full keg of crimson tears to burn through to recharge your now restored health. So that tiny sliver should only matter if you get almost-one-shot for 95%-99% of your health. Basically, FromSoftware saying "Stop hoarding your consumables, maidenless!"
the phrase "bottom surgery" with the accompanying imagery of a blacksmith performing corrections with a hammer is one of the most glorious things I've ever witnessed.
I held on that for a third of my game bcuz I forgot about it. Then I had to get that 5% back to beat Astel and get through Siofra. But by the time I wanted more mommy hugs because Volcano Mano and Altus hurt my feelings Fia killed D and went to the Deeproot Depths. 😂😂

04:48 *Gatekeeper Gostoc* the NPC that advises you to avoid entering the Stormveil Castle using the main gate because he says it's tightly guarded. He's the one that traps you in this dark room. On top of that, every time you die in Stormveil he actually gets 30% of your runes for himself. Killing him rewards all those runes back. When you reach the site of grace right after you meet him, look to your left on top of a small edge. He's waiting for you to go in.
I knew this was going to happen...i gotta finish the game before watching this but already gave the like... You OWE us though the Bloodborn and Dark Souls playthroughs...
