Don't forget to check the my giveaway for a chance of winning the Elden Ring DLC! www.instant-gaming.com/en/giveaway/onlywaifu What's your opinion on these cheaters?
@@quandale_dingle6353 All people I've spoken with before accepting the brand deal said they didn't have any issues, and people are using my link atm and everything seems to be working fine!
@@OnlyWaifuYTNice Ill probably use it in the future when buying a game from some scummy company like ubisoft. I already have the dlc tho and if anyone can swim in my money like scrooge mc duck its miyazaki and gaben so im happy to pay them full price.
The account blocking method to prevent resummons is the greatest 4d chess move to deal with dedicated ganks and cheater groups, never knew it was a thing before
@@charle7119you go to "recent players" in the steam in-game overlay. It's not the best though if you've invaded multiple people because it doesn't give the most accurate timeframe so when you're doing back to back invasions and only run into someone you want to block on one of them it can be difficult to find the right person. Might be easier if Elden Ring on PC lets you see player steam usernames instead of character names.
@@charle7119 if you play with Character names on in the settings, you have to use recent players list. You can turn that off though and the game will show you their username so you can easily identify and block them.
I especially love when you use your knowledge of the game to take care of cheaters and then the cheaters get mad and act like they don’t cheat. So much for hacking a game they don’t like or care about.
@@ultimatecoasterremakes5500you’re saying she “used her knowledge of the game…” to win. But she just cheated. They both are using exploits in the game.
@@antoniodominguezjr4734 how else was he gonna beat the cheater? Bro, your acting like waifu is worse for cheating right back at the cheater. For all I know, you are most definitely a ganker in ER.
Fun fact, I noticed that this was in the Carian Manor near the troll knight, and this is actually a glitch that can just, happen really. If you get attacked by the wolves nearby while airborne at just the moment you're about to hit the ground, the stagger animation will sometimes clip you into the stairs, where you can only be hit when you're at the very edge of the stairs. Found it out by complete accident with mixed results trying to recreate it outta curiosity. Direct projectiles (arrows, bolts, pots), including spells can't go through the stairs from the inside unless you're at the edge of the stairs, but the hitbox for explosions clips through for some reason. The best method to deal with someone inside them is probably night maidens mist or whatever tf it's called. But your method also works cuz of the busted hitbox.
When I meet a cheater in PvP I just laugh thinking about the fact that he spends his Saturdays using cheats to win in a scenario with no upsides or downsides
That definitely helps. It's also just good to block them and just not play with them. End of the day, they want you to put in the effort to entertain them - just don't. Don't play with people you wouldn't share a couch with.
-”The man in the mirror nods his head." Sorry, couldn't resist quoting the song. Btw, griefers make me remember the 30 INT part of my Dex/Arcane build, forcing me to not only pepper them with with usual bleed, but also with spells and frostbite. And if all fails, there is also exploits. Game's own natural unfair advantages, that should be used against disgusting buffoons that use third-party software.
Oh, the Caria Manor stairs clipping. You need to get the direwolf to attack you while you activate the summoning pool. If everything was done correctly, you will get pushed underneath the stairs. That's how that guy got to where he was.
@@l.o.v.e-sick5330what if you use back up save files on PC? Not that I would do it but theoretically that would allow you to try it as many times as possible right?
@@Revealingstorm. It should, in theory at least. Backing up your save before activating the pool should give you as much attempts as you need, plus allow you to perform it more than once.
Theres actually an explanation as to why the host is in the stairs as this happened to me when I was going through the manor, by interacting with the statue of Marika, if an enemy interacts while you touch the statue, the enemy is able to push you through the stairs but this can only be done once since you can only activate a statue of Marika once.
I've actually ended up under those stair before by accident. While in a new playthrough, I was activating the summoning pool when a wolf attacked me during the animation. This ended up clipping me through the stairs.
pretty wild to be in there. You gotta acitivate the little summoning totem thing right as one of those dogs attack you with a specific move to push you into the stairs. Can only try it once
this has happened to me once, somehow you can get the wolf to clip you through the stairs and underneath. it happened to me while i was activating the summon statue, but i havent experimented on how to replicate. im sure there is a consistent way to clip through the stairs, or they saw an opportunity and took it.
6:51 Oooh! hold up, I remember being inside there once. I panicked the first time I got dropped through the stairs wondering how to get out. I can't believe people are using this to cheat.
I watched this video yesterday and today something funny happened. I was running through caria manor and activated the summoning pool at these stairs. While or directly after that, the wolf attacked me and glitched me through the stairs. Maybe thats how the host got there.
I got pushed into those stairs once. I was activating the summoning pool there and the big wolf lunged at me during my i-frames and no-clipped me.... Maybe that information will prove useful?
I remember i got stuck under that stair case my first playthrough. I couldn't teleport out or anything I got lucky with raw dumpling and died to poison
I think all games should come with a menu setting that teleports certain people to the final boss. Insta kills final boss on any input. Says one of these. "You Win!", "You are special", "Everyone thinks you're cool!". Immediately rolls credits. I think that's what cheaters want and will leave everyone else alone to game after hearing what they never hear in real life.
Nah, malicious cheaters want to ruin the experience for others to feel like they are better than everyone else and all that, they aren't sated by 'winning' in single-player. The souls series has a weird history with cheaters. Some cheaters are actually cool, and do stuff like making custom boss fights, which was pretty common in Dark Souls 3, or people did funny stuff with cheats, like 'Jack' in DS2, who made their body invisible, and only equipped a pair of pants to appear as if they were just legs and ran around kicking things. Sadly, it doesn't seem Elden cheaters do anything funny or cool, they seem mostly malicious.
If you are actively trying to invade into a cheater's world, try using the Crimsonwhorl bubble tear glitch right when you spawn in. Even if their stats or damage are cheated to be near infinite, you should be completely immune to their elemental attacks. If someone comes in to try to disrupt the power up seizure, you should be able to out-heal 99% of their attacks provided you remain in the Holy Ground area of effect.
I figured they were in the staircase when the first giantsflame was shot. it looked like it was clipping from underneath the floor and if the host was actually invisible then that'd mean they didn't need to stay in 1 spot
You made a whole gosh darn video about this cheater... Taking about single minded vengance ...And I didn't know I needed Roderika to call me her "My little Heliport". Now I know
I once met a dude who had like 100k health. Whipped out assassin's gambit and he couldn't do shit. "If you're nothing without the lock-on then you shouldn't have it." -Some dude
Thanks) This was made for trolling invaders: a summoning pool glitch + max damage on giant fireball or prelate scull (it’s even better, does up to 2500 damage with all buffs including mushroom head and poison). Sadly, some reds lack imagination. And braveness, as they try to hide such comments
I’m glad you fellas dealt with that stairway cheating guy. At least he doesn’t have infinite health nor immunity to all attacks. Some of those with either of those cheats would be too smart to fall for cliff tricks.
I got pushed into that stair once when I was playing with a friend. We even got help from a red that had invaded us earlier to try to help me get out. The dogs in the area somehow got on top of me when activating the summon pool wich made me clip through the floor.
Elden Ring players running into a cheater: Thou shalt not go unpunished! Prepare for your doom! TF2 players running into a cheater: A wow, you're human? How rare. Quite interesting. Say could you help us with these here robotic hordes? #FixTF2
Had a new one on console where the host walked to my spawn (I was nowhere near anymore) and started hitting my character like i was still there. I was so confused
I know this. I actually _just_ saw a video about this glitch the other day. The person aggroed the wolf and then activated the crucifix, and an attack from the wolf pushed the player _under_ the stairs. It looked like you could only perform this glitch once per playthrough, though, since something about the activating the crucifix animation while the wolf attacks you is what makes it possible. So yeah, the guy is hiding under the stairs throwing fireballs at you.
Looks a lot like the same clipping bug from DS3 at Pontiff; where you'd bait a Giant and line it up with against the rectangular Block after the stairs leading to the open area. Executing the riposte animation while standing between the giant and the wall would cause your player model to clip through geo. My guess is for here they used either the large wolf by the Phantom Tree or the Troll Knight.
my first guess for the weapon is the clayman harpoon or crystal knife, but the stats were wrong, i am almost positive it is the Clinging bone though, also great video as always, keep up the good work and super creative pick for the weapon, it had me royally stumped for a while.
Reminds me of the ds3 days when I used to pvp. Oro would upload a video and then I would see people use that build against me. In this case I recently saw a video showing how to get down there and now your posting a video of dealing with it.
ok, blocking communication is a new one and I love how it sabotaged his little tomfoolery to the point he was too flabbergasted to realize you're still trying to kill him. - and then you killed him
I always love watching this content. I may not play online ER, but man is it fun to watch the Elden Ring waifus just insult people and each other while explaining thing to the point that a 1st grader can understand it
Mystery thingy is the clinging bone And back in my day cheaters at least had the decency of showing their face and fighting on their own. I remember killing some infinite hp hackers in darkroot garden via kicking them from the ladders.
You can get in the stairs by aggroing the wolf in that area. While activating the summoning pool, the wolf will run into you and push you beneath the staircase.
Had a dude earlier, somehow go from doing a sweep, to staggering me, to taking me from nearly full HP (I had a max of 2000 HP, Wearing the Solitude set, Greatshield Talisman, 62 endurance). To dead. In a single stab animation. Without really finishing any of his animations. Came off as sus as fuck.
Love ur videos, best inspiration and upgrade to my mediocre pvp gamplay xD I still don’t know what to do against roll catches though i was able to beat DLC Radahn with no summons with like 200 tries but when i try to invade i always get punished and ganked and don’t know how to play against that. At least there are a lot of people in duels colosseum right now ;) U must pvp a lot i never ran into a cheater.
I myself am comtemplating giving PVP by Invasion a shot myself, but, no matter if I'm a Furled Finger, Recusant and Bloody Finger, or Hunter, I am wary of shit like this. I'd say something in the lines of "Begone, Competitives!" but I don't think the Colisseum truly counts as such and is just there for the sake of duels and team combat ordeals, no matter the rules.
So, basically, no-life invader gets salty at no-life cheater and uses the most pathetic glitch to fight them. But sure, there's absolutely no problem with FS's approach of PvP
Mystery Thingy is the Clinging Bone! I had to load up one of my save files, because I was like "Wow... that weapon has garbage stats... what the hell is it?"
I'm not entirely sure how to pull it off, but unfortunately, there does seem to be a bug in the game that can put you under the stairs. I've had it happen a couple of times to me, though I do not know how to cause it. I don't know if it's even something you *can* replicate. The one thing I *do* know is that you're essentially trapped in there until you fast travel. Whether or not the host intentionally pulled this or not, he clearly decided to use it to do some trolling while he was stuck there. My guess is that he could still reach the summon sign somehow (maybe by his friend placing it near the stairs somehow) so he could keep doing this over and over. As for the build/spells? No idea if that was legit or cheated too. Still, that bug with the stairs has been there pretty much the entire game and has yet to be properly addressed by Fromsoft.
I mean was it really some of the best armor for fire resistance, also giants flame take thee can 2 shot if min max even at 80% fire resistance from what I’ve seen(not including a shield)
