@@nickzak88 If I had a review copy of the DLC earlier like every other big creator, I would have had 5x more guides and builds out for you guys by now. I had a review copy of the base game back then and got more vids out by comparison is all
The collosal hammer that you get from the big guys, with 70 arcane, you put on a bleed ash of war like the great sword one, it gives 241 bleed proc which is insane with varres mask and lord of blood exultation. It also staggers very hard and hits stupidly hard for a bunch of damage
@@dceasedbrickfan74 naked dragon huh..well if the boost aren't significant it won't be worth it, especially against the crazy dlc bosses and most dragon stuff is mid/close range unlike magic. I heard there was a lightning version, which for that might be good, but again if the boost is some 10-15% why bother?
For anyone wanting the fighting arts before having to clear the castle/Rellana, there is a path around to get past the castle without fighting her. Hard to explain but but you have to go far south in the ravine and then can come up and then go north to the castle. I have all the maps except one one one character without fighting any bosses so you can get stuff if you want to fight the bosses with certain items.
From the castle front site of grace, go right. The path you need to take is between the pillar path cross site of grace and castle front. Pretty much from pillar path cross site of grace go north and there is a place going down. You'll reach a poison swamp and just keep going east. You'll find a pile of rocks where the spirit spring is supposed to be and you need to find another pile of rocks and break it and which will unseal the spiritspring. Go up and you'll reach the fort of raprimand and from then on just keep going north and you'll find the exit from that fort and that area. After exiting you'll end up in an area with a dragon that you can just run through and ignore. Follow the path north you'll eventually reach Moorth ruins site of grace.
It's insane with sacred blade (that shit is crazy in general) and the great hammer gets a special guard counter which benefits from infused holy damage so it's just nuts all around
@@jameswtlocs It sounds like Messmers Great Black hammer drop by drafting messmer soldier weilding it nearby the church of consultation. It has the ability to be enhanced with ashes of war, AND buffed with its split holy damage nature.

The dungeon for the Death Knight was so hard, I'm on NG+11. The death blight and the imps made it super difficult, also this are where there is spellcaster made me have to switch to a range build. For imps, I used basphemous blade and fingerprint shield using range ability for the imps that use canons and parry attacks for the ones with swords. When deathblight was activated i used my law of regression incantation to deactivate it. When range attack enemy appared i used radahn's bow to strike from afar. Took me a while to actually reach the boss door. Once there, I used flame grant me strength, golden vow, blessing of erdtree, uplifting aromatic. I used Greatsword with Giant hunt ash because it can stagger the boss, let my mimic do some work. when i was getting chased, i woulld use bloodhound claw. The greatsword was a key component to my victory, I have used it on several human sized bosses and some large sized knights.
at the end the information about farming the giant hammer is bait. u get it with 100% drop rate at a church to the right of were u first enter the dlc or if ur on console its bugged to give you the shield instead
Appreciate your honest reviews on the Great Katanas, they’re alright but I really hoped that we’d see something better. Fingers crossed that there’s more later on.
Not a great katana BUT right after this video I learned about a dlc katana called “Sword of Night” it’s a black katana and its ash of war is like a black energy infused waterfowl dance. So I’m sure there’s more weapons we don’t know. Update lol just found out about Rakshasa’s Great Katana.
You don’t need to farm the dark knight to get the Black Steel Greathammer. There is a non-respawning black knight at the church of Consolation, from the starting site of grace pass the forest where the guy with the beast claw is, defeat him and he will drop it.
no it does not, i tested this since i have done multiple characters, and the drop is random. one time i got a shield, one time i got nothing at all. its just a normal enemy with normal drop chance. the one in the video is the fastest one thats early near a grace so you can respawn faster.
Duel magma blade all day, with blasphemous blade and incantations as back up. Nothing stands a chance. Breaks stance or everything, deals INSANE damage, and is just so fun. Start with lightening spear and blasphemous blade for early chip damage, then time your first strike, you’ll break stance and kill most bosses without a single potion.
Just passing be to see all the weps possible and just to comment i would love to see a build around the martial arts and beast claws weapons, they are my absolute fav from the DLC

Don’t worry once you find him he’ll chase you forever. He surprised me first time I ran into him and he ended up killing me cuz I couldn’t get away to heal up.

I insert her where I'm too lazy to read the script. idk if there's other options, but I used ElevenLabs. and you get some crazy ai voices. the one used is randomly generated and tweaked a bit. unfortunately the free credits they give refresh monthly so this is the last I have for her til 8 days from now cuz i ain't paying or you can just create a new gmail, sign up, and get more that way too.
it was ai generated no more copyright strikes. I used a site called "suno ai". I made the endscreen song with it as well, rap, techno, lofi, metal, etc. its pretty cool.
Its start of the castle opposite the poop river when you 1st see it. Or just walk in castle and stick rightside G. but you might need sewage gate key cant remember thts a wee jump puzzle at the top of waterfall
its hard to miss its on the way to proceed the level to the right where poop fountains are at near the very start of the dungeon after you initially pass the scorpion part on first enter. sorry!
i beaten malenia's ass with rellana's twinblade i dunno what you did wrong but i personally don't only use a weapon for it ash of war the attack move set of this weapon is peak and the fire attack has stagger potention on malenia for the magic one i don't advice doing it unless she's hella staggered
im sure you can beat her with it, but yah spamming the aow wasn't worth it. and its split damage, so if you're just using the normal moveset you might as well use two light GS with better damage and aow. I pretty much 3-4 tapped her (hits, not tries) with my claw build and stunlocked her to death, by comparison.
dude... i don't get how people already beat this DLC. Im struggling hard. Die in 1-2 hits while dealing CHIP damage in return. WTF is this. I didn't sign up for naked SL 1 run....
You get smithing stones or somber smithing stones. Search up a video on where to find all smithing and somber smithing stone bellberrings. And don’t rush through the story to get to dlc.
actually thats the best way to show, because you get a universal comparison that anyone can emulate easily. with scadutree fragments, there's a big ass difference between someone killing things with +3 blessing and +20, so you'd get "how come I don't deal that much damage??" post nonstop.
@@PWARGaminghe's talking about anvil hammer, which looks like the warhammer in warhammer the miniatures game. Sigmar is the emperor of both the empire, and a major God in the sequel age of Sigmar. His hammer is ghal maraz, looks similar to that.
@@liquidrufus Honestly some of the bosses are straight up bullahite...like the undead dragon in cerualena coast, since even the dead of thousand cutsnby torren is hard to do since fuckernsummons bunch of undeath after gets to 50%. So i understand his frustration. Especialy as my arse is on NG+
Just to clarify: beast claw man is not an invader so you won't get dismounted when reaching that area. I spent a good 5 minutes riding around waiting to get dismounted so I knew he was coming but never did and because he camouflages really well with the grass I had a hard time even knowing he was around there.
You're 100% wrong about the dragon great Katana. Use it on a build that's pure strength with enough faith to cast Howl of Shabriri, and you can get just under 5k damage to a dragon with a headshot. I could probably push it higher than 5k but I'm not about to spend several minutes buffing with different overlapping buffs
I recommend the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword, its super fun to use and the AoW is so good imo. The R2 is a good poke and it has the same strength scaling as the guts greatsword (B)
Dryleaf is really good. I went from Starfist in the base game, crushing everything to struggling in the DLC to once again crushing everything when I got Dryleaf and giving it an A in Str scaling. I have yet to get and be able to test Red Bear's Claw.
@@PWARGaming I put Heavy Barbaric Roar on it only to change the Str scaling to A instead of C. I usually just use the R2 charged atk but non-charged R2 or regular R1 hits work easily enough. Most things get staggered in one or two charged R2 combos. I just found Red Bear's Claw. Looking forward to seeing your build vs mine, of which I have nothing planned yet.
5:22 maybe you could insert an indicator on the map where you are right now while walking the way on the green line. so the indicator travels along the green line on the map.
