I beat Sekiro on NG+ and haven't got close to these skills in ER. The weapon, weapon art and spells also weren't much of a factor in these victories. Yes, they were doing high damage but the skills are what really knocked these enemies down.
It really is nice to see these no hit runs with specific weapons where you are actually utilizing the weapon art. I've seen a good few where they treat it just like any other melee weapon and maybe use the weapon art once every few bosses, if that at all even. Including this very weapon.
Best and coolest weapon in the game. Every character I save one larval tear so I can always respec for the Godslayer GS. Always return to it after trying multiple builds
@@TimothyGod i love the weapon and the WA etc, just the black aesthetic with the red Crystal in it, doesnt really match with anything. Except the nights cavalry set, but im tired of using that haha
I love how it staggers and breaks posture, along with the reach. That fire melts them,I use those as well.Lightning is fun too with the Crag blade, but this build melts them constantly.
This is the most satisfying Elden Ring videos I've ever seen. I've always fancied the GS greatsword and I think it's such a badass weapon, but my prisoner class sadly doesn't facilitate the higher requirements for it on a dedicated faith/fire build. The Apostles theme queued at the end of every fight gave me a nice chuckle too lol. Anyways, I absolutely loved the video! 😀
That Rennala fight was the only time I've ever seen Noble Presence used in an effective manner. Absolutely hilarious. Those parries on Malenia and Radagon were fantastic. Radagon looks so dejected when he gets parried, it's funny. Malenia is just kind of like, "what!?" when she gets parried. Reminded me of Sekiro a little bit
Great video! Do you use some kind of a mod to get Melina's appearance of is it just sliders? If the case is latter, could you please share the sliders? Because that face is awesome!
if what youre going for is blood loss then white mask and lord of bloods exultation would boost your damage after bleeding something. the second talisman i would probably go with shard of alexander or warrior jar shard, unless you plan on using charged R2s a lot then in which case go for the axe talisman. the third talisman i would go for is ritual sword talisman for 10% boost at max HP, the last talisman i would use is dragoncrest for physical damage reduction. for tears use opaline bubbletear and spiked cracked tear for more charged R2 damage.
@@blackhaze_gaming I've been meaning to ask but never dared XD. But now that I know I can't help but think you don't respec for every weapon, which brings this whole thing you do to another level.
When using a shield, the shields AoW takes priority. When using dual weapons, the main hand takes priority. If you are using a shield, you have to two-hand the weapon, or switch off the shield in order to use the AoW.
the first four you see at the very start of the video is what i used. i think i only used the physic once and that was vs mohg and it wasnt even necessary. i would say use flame shroud cracked tear, and the second could be dex, strength or opaline w/e fits your playstyle. shard of alexander and fire scorpion charm are a must, the other two talismans can be w.e you want them to be. you dont have to take my word for it though im not really a builds guy im not punching in stats on some google doc lol i just try to make entertaining videos using my skill level. i was also around RL440 when i made this and i always go glass cannon.
@@blackhaze_gaming it’s amazing actually. I love the build. Presents more of a challenging way to play around enemies overall. Keep up the great work man.
well to wield this you need 20 strength, 22 dex, and 20 faith, the weapon scales with all 3 but its scaling is a B in dex, and a C in faith, so DEX and FAITH are the stats you want to focus on for this weapon.
@@RichardMcIntosh-gf2ne just didnt feel like using the incant, dmg was enough. there is no actual reason to use the AOW version over the incant version.
i think i did somewhere in the comments, i dont exactly remember i think somewhere around RL444? anyway if you want to know how i would build this at RL150 my stats would be Used Godricks Great Rune (+5 to all stats) Vigor:60 +5 Mind: 17 +5 Endurance: 31 +5 Strength: 20 +5 Dexterity: 40 +5 Intelligence: 10 Faith: 41 +5 Arcane: 10 Tears: Flame shrouding cracked tear, spiked tear, (use opaline if defense needed) Talismans: Ritual Sword, 2Hand, Flocks Canvas, Beloved Stardust or Flocks Canvas, Shard of Alexander (axe talisman if you dont want to 2hand the sword) as it gets annoying switchign betweend 1 handing and 2 handing to also cast spells. Swap to dragoncrest if defense is needed, again it depends on you and how you play, so just use it as reference only and adjust it to your needs. this build kind of has stamina issues so you might need to sacrifice 10 points in vigor for endurance or buff with blood boil aromatic just for the stamina boost.
its just my playstyle, sometimes locking on doesnt let you place yourself where you wanna be in order to get more damage off. ive been using lock on more in my newer videos, i think a mix of both is the best combination.
@@m.s6832 with scaling I mean you go beyond the required stats. Godslayer base strength is fine, rest in dex/fth. So one handing is perfect since the dmg boost from the strength level isnt worth 2handing for me
