Just note that normally you'd get 11k runes but he is getting 13k runes because he is using the gold scarab talisman. If they have glowing gold eyes it just means they would drop 5 times the normal amount, it's worth your time to kill it
@@AscentGamingEnemies with glowing eyes are random I think. I've seen them before and I've never even heard of that talisman. I wish I saw more cause they drop 5x normal runes
17k if you use a gold pickled fowl foot with the gold scarab, rest at the grace doesn't remove the effect of the foot of the gold fowl foot. I net around 6-7 kills 17k × 7 kills = 119k runes. The can be crafted or bought so I'd highly recommend that
@@johnstewman2238 what a dumb argument. Thats A.) Only true if youre naked and b.) If high health only last for 2 hits that literally 100% more effective than getting oneshot.
@@thedarkness125 everyone's gameplay experience is different but sometimes the splitting of hairs has to be considered yes being able to take two hits is better than one but from my results starting as armored melee proved ineffective when my samurai kept getting wiped by basic enimies in two hits and one hit from any special or large ones. Like how when I parry with a shield and the enimies clip out of the recoil animation to be in the middle of an execution on me it feels like long range magic shots have been working better that trying to take the hit.
It’s better to go back to the starting area. There’s another maiden in the church where you start game. If you look up the vid on how to get there it’s real easy
@@Kristoker420 you gotta go the temple of four belfries or sum like that in the top left of the map and then you take the top teleported back to the start of the game then you can kill the boss that you lose to at the start and then make your way back to where you got the first finger and you can soak the cloth there
I’m not saying I killed him.. but if he didn’t want to get absolutely obliterated in the first 5 minutes of the game then why is he going around calling me maidenless?? Keep. My wifeless name. Out your FUCKIN, MOUTH! 😤
Once you reach the secret location in mountain tops of the giant you can fine a teleporter in the south part of that area or you can go to an area past godrick the grafted to the church of with the turtle pope to revive him
Wait till you hear that the best rune farm ever can only be unlocked by defeating the final boss. You get 40k every 15 seconds or so. Maybe 40k per 10 seconds if you're consistent.
I mean if you want easy runes you can use a flail and kill greyll with bleed while having a gold fowl foot. Easy 96k runes in less than 30 minutes. Also extra 42k for the nights cavalry by lennes rise which can easily be cheesed.
Just kill Greyll and you'll have enough runes to level urself up to defeat Godrick. If you still suck, then right next to Greyll is a fort where you can get the Radagon soreseal and that's pretty much a free 20 levels for a talisman slot and 20% extra damage taken. Easy kill of godrick in less than an hour and a half. Maybe another hour to complete Varre's questline. Then you can farm way more. If you're too lazy to do that, then outside the Beast Clergyman's chamber is an area with a bunch of Vulgar Militiamen. They give like 1k runes each.
Thank you so much. This is by far the most beneficial ruin farm. 11k every 15 seconds or so is insane. Granted it took me awhile to get there because almost every monster could one hit kill me. So it took alot of sneaky and horse sprinting.
Yup, level 138 and still use this spot, op asf and easy to get early. Everyone should do this just to have quick runes option besides popping the rune medals.
Exactly. I'm level 250 and I still use it to farm. Equip the sacred relic sword, gold scarab talisman and pop a gold foot and you're set, especially on higher Ng cycles
@@whimsicalghost sacred relic sword is the best farm, unfortunately needs you to defeat da game first. I personally just cheat engined myself a sword with the sole motive to farm with it lol, I won't use it until I get a legitimate one and won't use the engine again in NG+ because I already have the sword then.
@@cyrussears6827 yeah but it's a little more complicated. The entrance is in the consecrated snowfields. The same area you'd go to get to miquella's halligtree to fight malenia
Another great tip, If you equipped the Regel Omen Bairin you farm the bird for free instead of paying for arrows. The power send like 15 different orbs that track the target at an extremely long range
1. Instead of killing godrick, radahn is much easier 2. Instead of going on Church, go to south of limgrave, you'll find irina 3. Invade 3 times and lost is okay the mission still complete.
You made it look so easy to access but good lord the path is a pain in the ass, like i remember getting to the church and going through the mohgwyn palace under level was sooo hard back then-
The birds don’t drop 13k they drop 11k and to make them drop 13k you have to get the golden scarab found in the abandoned cave, you fight the dual cleanrot mobs and you’ll get it
I use dragon ice breath to farm almost that whole part and is pretty effective. With the golden scarab and Golden fowl toe I can make around 130k a run If I don't get killed
@breanaboiriepharmd5690 in the multiplayer menu, where you use the finger remedy/severer you'll have Festering Bloody Fingers, use one to invade. Alternatively, in western Altus Plateau, there's an NPC redsign in a set of ruins you can use to get the quest finished without pvp
@@mrcapitan8286 bloodhound fang was actually my very first main weapon that i used for a long time. Now I'm on my way to get the last achievement with radahns greatswords
If the first boss is to hard for some guys u can bypass the castle to the right there is a hidden way So u don’t need to fight u can go there as lvl 1 if u want
lol, the quest literally makes you avoid every hard boss you have to kill to get there, godrick is easy, even easier than Margit and it's a really early game boss, like super early. so essentially if you complain about thus you're just bad lol
It should be noted that there is another option to complete this quest by using the "offline" method. (Easier of the two methods, in my opinion) Instead of invading 3 player's worlds, just invade the NPC Magnus the Beast Claw's world and kill him. His red summon sign is located in the northeastern side of Writheblood Ruins, which is located in the Altus Plateau.
If you don't want to fight the madness to get to the church in the video, you can go back to the chapel of anticipation which was the starting area and use the dead maidens blood there.
Honestly not really because im level 122 (which is about normal a little low even for how far I am in the game) and it takes 100 something thousand runes to level up so after not that long this farm just takes a really long time to level up once and now the only reason I use this farm is to buy items from npcs/merchants because a single level up takes way to long and youd have to do this like 11 times for a level up at that point
@@DanielFlores-fo1ee lmao yeah you won’t have a fun time leveling “organically” when you reach past level 160+. I’m at level 253 right. IE and to get to the next level I need 532,000 runes…. Lol you die twice in a row without picking up your soul is risky and imagine you lost let say 200,000 because the boss in the open world decided to do you dirty? Lol 😂
@@DanielFlores-fo1ee if you're one of those people who can turn their brains off and listen or watch something while doing this then its actually pretty good cause you can farm as long as you want
@@zlxc_3803 all the items you need to get to the teleport are pretty much in a direct path on the main quest line. So yes. Using a teleporter is easier than following a separate questlinr
@@MoralPyromaniac the issue with the teleporter in the west giant mountain is that you need to have defeated morgott and giant mountain is a late-mid/late game area. Doing it this way and then running through all of the mobs to the mohg palace lookout grace can all be done from Liurnia, which is an early-game, also main-quest, area. By the time you get to giant mountain, you don't need this farm location bc you're already high enough level to, arguably, finish all of the main bosses. Then you're not going to need the farm location until end game again when you can actually use rahdan's starscourage to farm faster and then level up to fight melania and the other optional bosses
@@MoralPyromaniac beating 2 rune bearers (or just radahn) going to leyndell (which Is like 80+ reccomended) beating spirit of Godfrey, beating morgott, go to mountaintop of giants and then use a waypoint. Honestly man if you think that's easier than just talking to npc, beating godrick (which you can cheese with rotten stray ashes), going to rose church, talking to an npc, invading 3 people and you don't even have to kill the host of fingers, then just go to some tower that takes maybe 5 minutes to get to. I rather just do a simple quest line :)
theres also another route for those who didnt do this, go to the west side of the top snow field accessed by the secret medallion and fight with the invader, then use the teleporter and youll be at that same place. You can find more of it on another video :) Glad to help anyone out
PLEASE REMEMBER TO USE THESE ON YOUR SECOND PLAY-THROUGH!!!! Please avoid soul farming on your first play though of the game, it will ruin your first experience if you are over leveled for every boss! I’ve gotten full PvP builds finished in under 2 hours by mueling over a Sacred Relic sword. Remember to pair this with the silver serpent ring and pickled fowl feet. (You can craft infinite via a cook book from Patches and look up golden firefly and four toed fowl feet farming spots, they are quick and simple)
@@maroyaka_ Nope thats not true. I keep seeing people get this wrong. Celestial dew is for absolution. Absolution is only for NPCs that are AGRO towards you. Like if you accidentally attack an NPC and they become agro and attack you, the celestial dew will make them normal again. Absolution does not bring back NPCs that you killed. This mechanic has been here since Darksouls 1 and i think demon souls too.
The dragon in Caelid is a really good rune farm as long as you have the right blood weapon, and it's at the very beginning of the game, get a blood weapon a golden pickle foul foot and hit it until it gets down to a sliver of hp get on your horse and then as soon as it dies run to the grace and if you did it right it should still be there and you can do it repeatedly, it's good for leveling up very first thing but it is also good to come back later when you're very high level to cap off your runes to level up again
guys if you’re struggling doing the three invasions, there’s another way to get to this spot. you wanna get to the snowing area of the map after defeating margot and finding the two pieces of a coin that will allow you to use an elevator that will take you in the west part of the snowing area. near by the west border you’ll find a portal that can be activated by using that coin. search on internet for the tutorial to get that coin.
@@MattThe1in27-1Hamill yea but so people (me) play on console and I don’t have an online subscription I play the game single player so I can’t do the quest unless there’s another way to do it
@@thekidnasa1126 The blood area is very late in the game anyway, you'll just have the option to go there much earlier with Varre's medallion so we are not missing anything much.
I’m praying that they put this spot there on purpose, for people to use and level up. There’s just no better area besides killing prawn in dragonbarrow, which takes forever and is only good for early game. Not sure of any other good rune farms, because it may seem op but it’s definitely necessary to have this because once you get to level 150 plus it starts requiring over 200k runes to level up. So the 40k runes per run starts to not look like that much. You can bump it up to around 60k per run with fowl foots and golden scarab. It’s worth it to farm fowl foots
Church of Anticipation also has a dead Maiden and is way easier to get too. Just go to the Four Belfries, use the once labeled Anticipation with the provided key, get revenge on the first boss, and then run up to where you originally spawned.
Alternatively you can go back to the starting area and get the blood of a maiden from the dead maiden that's holden the item at the beginning of the game, this however requires beating the tutorial boss if you haven't already killed it.
If you kill the dragon and get the 100k runes you can run to the site of grace near it and the dragon will be alive and you can keep farming the dragon💯
If you already killed the end boss in the elden tree get his sword. You only need the requirements for it and upgrade it a little. If you use it's ash of War you can kill all the trash mobs in like 2 seconds because it's a huge wave of holy damage.
I cant believe this became a short. Someone re edited the dude's original video? Its like a 5 minute video in the first place and this IS AN AMAZING farm location. I didnt go until I was lvl 70 and in like 2 hours I was 105
You could just bring the cloth where you find the default multiplayer items at the start of the game it’s the same body where you get on of them before leaving
There’s also a teleporter in consecrated snowfields, not sure exactly where but if you haven’t been here and have access to that area just look it up it’s much easier
Wearing the rune talisman and eating the rune foot you get little over 17k. If you wait till nighttime chance for bird to be worth 5x sometimes those enemies around it do it and its 20k
For those who can't play online to get the invasions part of the questline done, theres a teleporter in the consecrated snow area that will take you to the site of grace you need to be at in the farm area. Theres a way to get to the consecrated snow without the medallion pieces. It requires you to die, but is well worth the death to get to the teleporter for the farm spot. A warning, when you get near the teleporter, an npc invader will appear and prevent you from accessing it. To cheese the invader, wait for it to spawn in and run south to the nearby ruins. Find something you can parkour onto and the AI won't be able to figure out how to get to you. You'll also be able to summon in the ruins so be prepared to summon before jumping up to your spot. Then long rang the invader. He likes to dodge allot, so use spells that do AOE like night maiden's mist, or using spells like rock sling with the delay after casting to ensure you hit your target.
If you dont have access to online play then you can also go to the Grand cloister sight of grace and kill the pests there, with the golden beetle medallion you can get around 16k runes in about 3 minutes depending on long it takes you to kill them and theyre pretty easy once you learn their attacks, and with lorettas ash helping me it makes it that much easier, i just need to kill them about 4 times to level up at lvl 105
If you have blasphemous blade the mobs right next to the site of grace are extremely easy to kill (it’s even easier if you have if it max level like I do). I can’t remember if the mobs in totally give more money then the bird but if it does It would be a lot easier to get runes.
If this is the place that i think it is. You can get there also when you kill morgot, get two parts of secret medalion. And go on bigger side on secret part of moutins. You can find teleport to that location too, and you will have better lvl to fight with agressiv red frogs
