Elden Ring Is My FIRST "Souls Game" And Its Better Than EXPECTED

To be honest Elden Ring is a pretty good start if you want to get into the fromsoftware games. Elden Ring is easily the most forgiving in the series.

I got Elden Ring around New Years, it was on sale, and wanted something that looks cool. It was also my first FromSoft game, and I love it, despite not being very good. The trick is to like it enough to farm enough runes to become ridiculously overpowered. Even then you’ll get rocked, lol. I just started NG+4.

My advice is simple but will be your bread and butter for Souls games: don't get tempted by greed even if they've got 1 HP left. Good luck and have fun!

Fighting all the NPCs will make the game even harder for you. You're gonna miss out on tons of vendor items, quest items and weapons. But, every playthrough is different. As long as you're having fun you're playing the game the right way.

Elden ring was my first souls game I love it, an advice try to go to the east it’s a very friendly the most forgiven area for the beginners Believe me

Yh at the beginning i thought the same. But then comes the "can't go further" phase, where you will read dozens of tipps and tricks or watch videos, how to continue. And that's the main reason, why I think this game could be muuuuuuuuuuuuch better. I think if the game would be less mystical what to do next, and wouldn't cover every mandatory things and mechanics in secret, it would much better. I started as a Mage and it took me forever to find out where to buy or find spells. At some point you will only be frustrated. In my opinion that is the main reason, why I cant consider it to be "good" even i like the gameplay and huge dense atmosphere. The game is too difficult for casuals and search the needle in the hey is just a bad concept. If you require youtube videos to get further, it is not a good concept at all. Even worse, you will get spoilered as hell. It is almost impossible not to get spoilers, because even the thumbnails are in a way spoilers.

Always happy to see more people to get into this franchise, i would highly recommend you get yourself a controller for these games tho cuz they're really not made for mouse and keyboard Also i advice you to stay as blind as possible, this is your one and only first playthrough so i think savoring it as much as possible is the best choice of action Just don't summon Mohg in an elevator
