Also should point out: sellswords were using a heavy and broad sword in a narow cave, so it may be falure of noble who run ahead and not sellswords

You mean the starcallers? They're pretty straightforward actually! They deify the falling star beasts, use gravity sorceries, and search for gravity stone at impact sites.

The answer might’ve be at the beach near the church in limgrave, there is a lone kaiden at a camp, there are lots of shipwrecks too. The description might have referred to Kaiden being in an entirely different land and not the mountain tops we know. Since they are obviously supposed, to be vikings. Kaiden might be in a mountainous land north of the lands between.

I still read every comment! The giant skulls in Caelid and the mountaintop are still incredibly mysterious. I believe they're from a time well before even the dragons, but the idea that there were multiple fell gods seems plausible.

All we know is that their songs make fun of the Golden Order for being in such horrible shape after abusing creatures like them for eons If I remember correctly

Not sure if it could be since they're confirmed to come from the north. Our only glimpse of the Badlands is at the beginning when we see Horah Loux impaled. It seems to look much more barren than snowy.

That would be like, 90% speculation but definitely a cool topic to dive into. He's on the list!

That would make sense. The only furred animals we see in the mountain tops are wolves

@@square-table-gaming It's the same as how I don't think the Northerners actually hail from the mountaintops. The North does not *necessarily* mean the Mountaintops of the Giants (which, if memory serves, are supposed to be forbidden lands, anyways). Both the Kaiden and the Northerners I believe it likely to have arrived from outside the Lands Between (likely also why the bulk of their number seems to be in Limgrave, specifically), though I agree on their reasoning being fairly obvious (mercenary work, either for the nobles or for Godrick), and in fact I (also) believe it likely the Kaiden themselves are Northerners due to their manner of dress.

To me they most closely resemble Vendel Period Germanic people.
