Hello everyone everyone in todays video we are going to be disscuing the world beyond the lands between! What is your favourite land beyond the fog? If you did enjoy the video please consider leaving a like and subscribe! the discord for the channel: discord.gg/xv8t5bFSzd
Something I noticed and havent seen anyone online mention is that there is LAND far in the north. You can see it from Elphael. If you jump up the the balcony near the inner wall site of grace, to the north there is land very far from the main island of the lands between
yeah I realy like the whole fog in demon souls and elden ring, what if elden ring is set thousands of years after we choose the evil ending in demon souls..... what if the old one is in fact a vassal like the elden beast.....
@@theemeraldgecko310 So... The caterpiller turned into a slug with arms? Huh. I guess it metamorphized into a human-shape. Almost rhymes with Bloodbornes slugs with that logic.
I don't know why, but i was thinking how the lands between was some kind of after life giving how we enter the lands trough a fog, or some kind of between life and death that all souls passes through there, which the name "lands between" fits
I have felt the same way about the souls trilogy as well, it all seems like some sort of afterlife or purgatory because you seem to have died to reach these worlds..bloodborne as well but one could argue it's all a dream in bb..though dreamworld could still be considered a afterlife or purgatory..anyway enough rambling, ✌😎
I like to think the rest of the world is fine. only the lands between is screwed just makes me chuckle thinking that the gods are making their problems everyone elses
nah the badlands is so much worse, its a land without law, the strong prey on the weak, harsh weather and more, the badlands is where godfrey/hoarah loux came from
I think the DLC will take place (at least partly) outside the Lands Between. In the teaser, the Erdtree looks a lot further away than it does anywhere else in the Lands Between, and the landscape is completely unrecognisable.
I wonder if the 'worlds' of the Souls-like games (at least the ones made by FromSoftware specifically) are actually separated (physically) by a 'sea of Fog' of some type; and that each one of those worlds exist on the same planet, but events to each one of them (the actual games, and events depicted in them) perhaps happen at different times, which could explain that the "Hero" or "Chosen One" of each story 'travels' between each worlds from "beyond the Fog" (from another 'land', another 'world'). It could be the interpretation of us, the actual players in this real world 'travelling' between worlds (playing each games), and entering those worlds from the Fog (the Fog within the actual game world itself). So in other words, for example in Elden Ring, Melina meets the Tarnished (which she calls the Traveller at first, from 'Beyond the Fog') as the Tarnished is finding himself/herself within the world of the Lands Between for the first time... BUT... comes from another world, another game. Or I'm reading too much into it (or reading it wrong, but it's just my interpretation).
That’s my interpretation too. That’s how I think patches have ended up in elden ring and all the other games. He just travelled for a very long time and found himself in these other worlds
You are reading too much into it because all Tarnished have been banished to the Badlands--far away from the Lands Between. That's what she was referring to.
Dont forget about the Land of Reeds, the place where the Samurai set is said to have originated from, a place which the game says is outside of the Lands Between
Your video would be significantly better if you got a better mic and enunciated your words more clearly. I have to turn up my volume almost all the way to hear you, and it's still very hard to understand what you say without captions. I think you'd get a lot more subscribers if you fixed this.
Can’t agree more, it’s been fixed in later uploads screwed up a lot around that time with finding a good balance for audio, sometimes too high sometimes too low
@@theemeraldgecko310 it’s not a problem to have an accent. But for me personally, I would have gotten more out of your material if you had spoken a little more clearly and sharpened your annunciation. or don’t, it makes no difference to me. Just some free feedback, no malice behind it.
