This is quite impressive. I am level 190, have full armor, the dragonscale blade + 10, the erdtree greatshield + 10, the mimic summon + 10 and I still lose this battle. I've beaten almost every other optional boss including Malenia and for some reason can't beat this boss. This person comes in equipped like Fred Flinstone and takes down one of the hardest bosses in the game. Well done.
I'm with ya. As of now I've done 49 attempts. Malenia took me 59, so, we'll see who comes out on top! I'm dual welding katanas for Radagon, then I Swap to one with high Physical for the elden beast; since I can't bleed/frost him, as far as I know. I don't use summons though, because I like to torture myself. I was very tempted to break that rule on Malenia, and I am tempted again against the Elden Beast.
not only are these videos impressive in their own right, they're also really great guides for the bosses themselves and how to avoid all of their attacks
At least 1 unnecessary dodge vs radagon -> When he slam the ground with his hammer, you can dodge by jumping, then counter attack with jump attack (but you need to run away from him when he rise in the air to avoid his hammer) And you can jump over elden beast sword to counter jump attack too, but the timing his hard for no hit figth)
I just want people to understand that it doesn't have anything to do with timing, reflexes, or even skill. its all about focus and patience. once you've trained enough in those two abilities, FROM cannot program an enemy that you cannot dummy
The way you knew every opportunity to get a hit in was absolutely remarkable. When the EB was staggered, you got 4 heavy hits in before going for the crit. When the elden beast dives through the floor, you took a swing. Incredible
I thought for sure they would take damage during that dive. This timing is just incredible. Even if I know it's coming my nerves ensure I'll be a nanosecond too early/late. I don't know how they do it!
This fight is sooo beautiful, just wish Elden Beast didn't constantly move to the other end of the arena when you approach him. Well played as always :)
I’m not on this level of skill, but when I finally beat the elden beast I spent all my crimson flasks on radagon and then had only half my health left and had to do the entire elden beast without getting hit once. Pretty proud of it.
I've been trying to dodge Chasing Star without Bloodhound's Step, but unfortunately it seems almost impossible. If it's just Chasing Star alone, might be possible to dodge it by rolling, but as in this video, Elden Beast never uses Chasing Star alone. So all is up to RNG tho, I think it's very hard to dodge all these attacks by rolling. And I also tried the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear, but still took small chip damage. I don't know this is bug or intended 🤔
This is so insane from a lore perspective. It makes Marika's hand in this seem downright masochistic. [Awakens naked tarnished who then immediately beats all demigods and gods with a stick].
We're essentially Marika's Hail Mary tbh. All of the other Tarnished were her first picks. We're just what she scrounged up from the bottom of the trash can.

HP low enough to execute.
@@alegian7934 he can get staggered but it's a bit hard, he's got a bit over 100 stance so you can break his stance with 3 consecutive charged R2's from pretty much any hammer. Hammers are the best for that because they have a stupidly high poise/stance damage for their size lmao (also you can do it with flame of the redmanes)
I've helped over 50 people defeat this boss in co-op. 2-man and 3-man teams with a wide variety of weapons. Never before have I seen these guys stagger as many times as in this video. This is truly insane!!
Every time a Souls game is about to shatter my spirit, I watch one of your videos. Seeing perfection in motion always boost our confidence and pushes us to try again one more time. We bow to you Sensei.
This is unreal. I can't imagine the time it took to get that familiar with the EB's move set to pull this off. I literally just beat these two for the first time yesterday, but definitely didn't do it so grand a fashion. Well done.
It feels illegal seeing something this spectacular. The golden trees, the massive lake, just like ash lake. This feels like the culmination of everything i have experienced playing every souls game for ten years since i was 9. I've been a souls fan for so long, i have played each game faithfully and drained each one of their gameplay, build ideas, secrets, hidden lore and i soaked in each experience obsessively. These games, are my life, and elden ring is the finale. Seeing the scale, fun ideas that just make me wanna play so bad. The secrets, fun build potential, the beautiful world and enemy design. It feels like a dream seeing this game exist...
I love watching your videos, essentially the best boss guide you could ever watch in my opinion. I've already killed the elden beast but just watching you dodge these attacks gave me a great understanding of his timing. Great job!
Epic run! Insane skillz. Somthing I’ve come to appreciate of the club is how fast it’s 2 combo charged heavy attack comes out, and the stagger power it has. Stronger than it seems.
Well considering this is all he does all day I’d say my confidence is doing just fine. Don’t have the time, patience, or desire to do nothing all day but study the frames of every attack the boss does. There really has to be some layer of masochism to put yourself through this kind of thing
The only thing that sucks about the elden beast is there is too much RNG in his move sets, and they can overlap in a way that leads to unavoidable damage. Not all bosses can do that, but the elden beast can.
@@Werkvuur Yep I agree. I had done maybe 30 attempts and kept getting killed by chasing stars. When I finally beat it, it was because it kept breathing fire and swinging the sword, letting me get hits in. It legit died in 60 seconds lol it's one of the only boss fights in any FS game where I felt like I got lucky instead of actually beating it. I didn't feel too good about it lol
@@Werkvuur He's better, and I don't know if it's a weight class thing, but using a medium weight build I just can't dodge Radagon's swing into aoe. I either avoid the swing and eat the AoE, or vice versa. I mean, even watching videos of people doing this fight damageless I'm like, "My timing is about the same, I just get hit when it pops." Which leads me to thinking it's a "Lower weight class has more I-frames" thing.
@@Nekufan1000000 that's right, light weight can roll further and have a bit more . Medium weight can still dodge his aoe slam and shockwave but the timing is really tight
@@StevelyBruckShut if radagon was a separate boss with a higher health pool and elden beast was just, well, gone. then i think we’d have an amazing final boss
Truly impressive. I get so tense and nervous during these fights that I panic roll and spam attacks. I know it's wrong as I'm doing it but video games have kind of trained me to do this. It goes to show that with enough (maybe too much) time, you can learn the toughest boss patterns and train your gaming "muscle memory".
@@woolsword8200 the highest is radahn with 200 poise, but it takes a while for him to recover it so it isn’t as hard to break his stance as you think compared to others
I staggered him one time before but this asshole used his bs light ball move right before he staggered so I liteirally couldnt hit him when was staggered with dying
I've been watching your stuff (and showing it to everyone I know who plays these games) since Sekiro, and it never ceases to amaze me how ridiculously good you are at games, keep up the good work, Elden lord!
He must leverage first principles thinking; that is he knows exactly how many of what attack will stagger the boss, how long the stagger will last, the bosses entire moveset, and precisely when to dodge. I've been watching his videos for two years now and it's insane how no movement is wasted, every input has a clear purpose. The amount of cognitive bandwidth this requires is insane.
Pro tip man, instead of having to constantly tap B or circle to exit the inventory, just tap the button again that you use to access it. Takes you right out of it. Unimportant here, but for all those who don’t know. Also, insanely well done as always.
Been trying to wrap my head around what can even be done about the Chasing Star without resorting to just using Bloodhound Step. I genuinely haven't found a solution either. I wish something could be done with the base moveset.
@@jamesw6023 do you have a video where someone does it to give an example. I've seen it on the wiki and tried on my playthrough as well, but still take damage
The Problem is not Elden Star alone, this can easy be rolldodged. But as u see in this attempt, this isnt casted alone and then u end up having to run mostly straight to evade the followup
@@Retr0Static just running straight away from it is enough. no gimmicks needed. if beast attacks you have to roll so you will be hit by some stars unfortunately. Hence I think that's why he used bloodhound's step.
@@cybrhckr Yeah, I think the lack of stamina and the Elden Beast's other moves during it make it really hard. I'm curious if there is a way to manipulate the AI to not use the move, but's not really any different than bloodhound step.
Wow that was quite a run. Good job. I’m learning not to be afraid of them just by watching this. Just gotta get that timing down. I think if I watch more I’ll learn the patterns
Radagon is easily one of the best fights in Elden Ring, I had so much fun learning his attacks. If only his fight was a bit longer or he had second phase instead of Elden Beast
I've also beaten radagon+elden yesterday, tough I had 90 dex with melenias sword and nagikaba and still died for about 50 times. I salute your excelence my friend. Your dodge/jump skillshelped me immensely on some of the hardest bosses.
@@Colak01 90 is a waste of points , soft cap = 80 with A-scaling % = 150.2 compared to hard cap = 99 with A-Scaling % = 159.0, is that 8.8% really worth the 19 wasted levels? ( I know yours is only at 90 i was using a steam guide to base the info off of) , i’d respec back down to atleast 80 and put the rest of the points into either another scaling attribute or vigor/endurance/mind etc, just hate to see people waste precious attribute points
@@bluntly- great advice. Was about to say this then saw you beat me to it. Not enough people know this! I personally even think 60 is a good spot to stop for most things. The extra damage just isn't worth it when you could be upping your survivability.
@@bluntly- thanks for the great advice, I know the hard/soft cap concept on these games. Lemme explain, I tried to give 10 points to str instead of dex(80 hard cap), I get the same damage, since both of my weapons scale with str as E and each point to str gave 1 pts of damage in bpth cases. I couldve pushed vigor to 70, but even with 60 + morgot rune, I was having 2.4 k hp with enouh endurance so that I have full tree sentinel armor. Those final 10 points of dex were kind of a guilty pleasure :)
Just beat this game for the third time and finished at a level 217. Still took me 6 tries before I beat the final bosses. What remarkable timing. Incredible.
My dude, you are an absolute legend and I always look at your videos when I feel down about not beating a boss cause they are too OP. I aspire to one day have 20% of your skills! Keep up the good work.
Tbh speedrunning is crazy and somehow mindblowing to see people using tricks (excluding glitches) to literally run trough the game but THIS is just insane and in my opinion so much more skillfull and impressive than anything else well done dude
This video helped me understand when to dodge. I demolished Radagon. I got sick of elden beast, so I just kept running up to it, spamming glintstone spiral. Killed it in a minute.
I love the sparkly-glass type sounds where you smack elden beast. Sounds mysterious, and sells the idea that this “beast” is not of a material, earthly substance. Like, just wtf is he made of? Maybe he’s made of the fabric of the universe lmao
So damn impressive, well done. Wanting to start a lvl 1 run myself and the Elden Beast seemed like one of the biggest hurdles to get it done. Will definitely be looking back at this when I get to that point! Awesome job, again.
Finally beat this fight on my second playthrough as a mage and am watching you trivialize it to celebrate. It took me quite a lot of attempts over a few days but I'm happy with my final fight and how I won. Level 138 with 70 int, 35 mind, and only 20 vigor (with 43 faith that wasn't really utilized in this fight). With that much vigor I got slapped around pretty good and any two attacks combined could kill me, although if he did any stagger combo like the teleport in your face into fast swing that was just death if I didn't dodge the teleport. Elden Beast is actually pretty consistent and fun to learn as a mage besides Elden Stars because of the low vigor. I just used Azur's Staff with Staff of Loss in offhand for damage boost with Night Comet for both fights since it doesn't trigger Radagon's spell parry, and for Elden Beast I had Thop's Barrier equipped as that was my best way to deal with Elden Stars. I initially run away from Elden Stars and then when it's about to catch up the first time hold down Thop's barrier and multicast it while watching Elden Beast, then run and dodge whatever attack comes next, and then Thop's again until it forces Elden Stars under the water and then run away from it and it will finish and explode under the water. My final run I only used two Crimson Flasks, one for a hit I poorly dodged on Radagon, and one for the tickle damage from Elden Stars. In total the whole fight took exactly 5 minutes so considering I only got hit that much I'm pretty damn proud even if it's nothing compared to this video.
Beautiful fight. Cool to see you using red-branch talisman with bloody slash, it's the same setup I've been doing for my attempts. I use dual wield swords instead of a club so I have golden vow on one sword and bloodly slash on the other. If you have 0 FP you can spam bloody slash against the boss fog wall and it will skip much of the slow animation so the health goes away faster.
1:46 the music oh my god Also, seeing “GOD SLAIN” as a victory popup is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a Souls game. It feels like what we’ve needed to see, as nameless fighters, for all these years. “No man can kill a god.” I beg to differ.
First run i've seen of someone actually successfully dodging the chasing star, i was legitimately wondering if it was even possible or if you just had to pray for good RNG. Awesome run!
Holy smokes dude. I watched it still cant believe that you really no-hit Elden Beast. Dodging it's chasing star move, I'm totally enamored. God Gamer 🙏
Hey ONGBAL, i got a suggestion for an interesting fight. Did you know that you can cheese the Mimic Tear boss by coming in naked and then re-equipping your armor set when the fight start causing the Mimic to be without armor and weapon? Obviously this goes both ways, was kinda wondering if you try to fight your own best build y'know. It'd be a cool video to watch.
I know the mimic Tear is easy, but I really wish we had the option to refight it, I love that fight purely for the fact that it's an enemy with my exact look and moveset. That's what makes it easy though, you already know all the moves it can ever pull off!
