I am tottaly fascinated and obsessed with this boss , his moveset is just amazing , his animations and visuals are perfect . Perfect boss in perfect game

I wish they nerf his damage and buff his health. The fight ends too quickly either because he one shot me or because I three shot him.

It makes you wonder just how long has Maliketh's blade of destined death has been sealed away inside him. And the fact that you the player of all people are the first person to make him draw his blade again in a very very long time, just shows that Maliketh needed something far more powerful to kill us. I don't think the blade was always meant to look the way it looks in game, because if you've read the item description of the blade, it says that it's a shadow of its former self, meaning that the blade didn't always used to look like that. Even a part of the hand guard is broken a d the blade itself is chipped and cracked. I'm sure at one point this blade must have not only looked black, but it must have had a hue of gold in it, because you can also see gold streaks coming off of the blade when he holds it. And I think over time with the rune of death being held within it, it just wore down the blade from being in it and along with being in battle. Maliketh has lost most of his mind due to Marika shattering the Elden Ring and abandoning him, left with a never ending hunger for death root, as it contains fragments of the rune of death, and with him eating those death roots, it too has also been tainting his mind. Maliketh will always be one if my most favorite souls bosses in lore and in gameplay 👌🏼🔥🔥

Hes one of thr faster bosses i enjoy compared to even Malenia. Mostly because he telegraphs differently on flash of light or sound, and you can dodge each hit without being perfrct it feels. You just gotta pay attention. (Meanwhile, Malenia feels like I have to be frame perfect the whole fight)

The pose Maliketh does at the end really reminds me of Lorian and Lothric intro, when Lorian comes out, and does a very similar pose. Maybe it's a subtle reference, or i'm just overthinking this

I feel sad for mailkiath. He gets betrayed by everyone for just doing his job.

The fact that he is Radagon and Rennalas bodyguard makes shit much more interesting and the loyalty and the fact that Radagon trusted him with The Black Blade makes it so much cooler with his lore.

Fun Fact: Maliketh by lore is one of (if not the) strongest character. Bro soloed the GEQ, was made to kill Marika if she rebelled (and that was before he got Destined Death), and his sword insta-kills anything (once he got DD).

Something I found is that tanker builds do well in the first phase and light builds do better in the second. Just letting yall know if you’re playing light armour and katana boys, second phase is easier if you’re good

They tried 8times poisons but all failed.

This man gave me trouble on every single one of my playthroughs more than any other character lol
