No, Malekith just a doggo with cheazy sword. You or I could pick up that sword and be an Eldenring boss. They know this, so Malekith should get 1/2 health as the clergyman and 1/2 Malekith..the results would different. Otherwise, he gets too much time with the cheazy sword

@mr.trouble827 I'm pretty sure that destined death still works in "non alive" entities in the base game, like golems and even undead enemies It probably doesn't work on this enemy to force the player to actually kill him using the mechanic

It’s not prime Radahn. It’s radahn’s spirit in Mohg’s body that Miquella changed, wearing his armor from when he was younger. Prime Radahn is Radahn right before he fights Melania.

If it was prime radahn ( then it would be name:- starscourge the general radahn berserker ) this radahn which is basically a lore accurate radahn in his prime can completely destroy the (game accurate stats + full healthbar) maliketh.

Prime Godfrey, Radagon, Maliketh, Marika, Renalla, and Placidusax are all insanely OP. None of the demigods, not even Radahn, Malenia or Messmer could have defeated any of them most likely.

So, this was okay but Malenia wasn't?! I mean w/o the buff Malekith might have died against the first boss here. The scaling is different and it makes sense to scale them accordingly. Malenia wouldn't stand a chance against these endgame bosses. She squeaked out a win due to her second phase. Edit: Malenia had way more buff, so you are right. Didn't notice it. Should have been scaled equally. OP should redo the battle or its moot.

In Elden Ring fights Rellana vs bosses video, base game Malenia killed her and only got to like half of her second health bar, Giving her 3x makes it a no contest, I mean we’ve already seen her beat bosses for years why buff her so she can do it again? Messmer should be likely as strong as a boss as Malenia, he just does more damage but has less unfair attacks and mechanics. Just put em against him or bosses weaker than him. She got the health (except for one for two bosses maybe) and the mechanics on every dlc boss I’ve seen so far, while they have the combos, defense and the damage. It’s equal. Buffing her gives her an advantage in all categories. Even Maliketh has an advantage in mechanics

Because the blessings apply ONLY in the DLC. You may have insane damage and resistance in the Shadow Lands, but if you go back to the main game, you do not get to bring your super OP status and one-shot the old bosses. You revert to being as weak as you ever were, and the old bosses as strong as they ever were. Go to DLC = power up, go back to main game = power down. If Maliketh was kicking your ass before the DLC, he will still kick your ass after the DLC (barring the usual power ups from gaining normal levels and items of course). Fromsoft implemented this system so that you have a way to progress your power level in the new content, but not make the old content relatively weaker. Thus, if you want to actually compare their relative strength, you have to either scale up the old bosses, or scale down the new bosses. And before you say "you can choose not to use the Scadutree Fragments", yes, and you can also choose to play the whole game at RL1. Doing an RL1 challenge run has no bearing at all on the scaling of bosses, it's an optional, deliberate handicap you put on yourself, thus not scaling the old bosses is a deliberate handicap on the old bosses. Even with the extra scaling, you can see Maliketh's Destined Death is nerfed, it doesn't kill the bosses nearly as fast as it normally does, so he's already at a disadvantage.
