Brad, you only get invaded when in co-op mode. So those statues you see around bosses (summoning pools), if you summon a person with furling leaf consumable under multiplayer (in the pause menu), thats when you can be invaded. Solo players wont face invasions. Most invasions are currently around boss zones, especially final boss, since people need help with it. So you can play freely.

You wont be invaded while solo unless you use an item to allow it to happen or summon other players for co op. Invaded players will disappear when you enter a boss mist.

Just to let you know, if you play at night, there are questlines that appear only at night, hidden items will be lit up in a glowing moon circle and more things that playing at night actually helps

At 10:37, there is an alter for the Sword of Darkness. First, you need to get the stone sword, which I think you missed. There is a guide on RU-vid on how to get it. Basically, the Stone sword can become the Sword of Dsrkness and the Sword of Light. You can change the sword back and forth as many times as you want. To make it the Sword of Darkness that's at the Ruins of Unte

Brad you’ve gotta try other weapons brother. Remember you’re able to shop for all the upgrade materials you need at any time you want at the round table. It’s also easy enough to farm runes to buy what ever you need as well. So don’t hesitate to level your weapons to +9 or +24 and see if you like them. Then if you do you can max them out. Just saying. A lot of the new weapons are really fun.

You gotta explore the shadow keep some more. Literally a main boss at the very top. It also connects to like 3 other places on the map (you’ve been to one already). You haven’t even scratched the surface of that place and you ignored it for 6 parts 😅

Wait to you see the 2nd phase of that dragon boss. You need to have that summons gut alive when you kill the boss. Best way is get him down to like 10% and then summons that guy in to complete his story line. You get his armor set and weapon.

I've found this game definitely rewards you to check every nook and cranny. Also the messages on the floor have been a huge help to a new souls player such as myself

At 9:00, you need to craft a hefty furnace pot, and throw it in. That will allow you to run into the ruins on unte. Also to kill the furnace golems, you just have to keep whacking at their legs. And hope they fall for a crit. Its a long, longggg process. Whacking and jump dodging its attacks.

Actually you can find some heights just above them and throw in several of the flaming pots (I forget the name but it's not the one to wake up this one) and after 3 or 4 it'll kill it

Idk the boss's name but there's a boss in the castle and you can get a remembrance from it. There's also another boss in the abyss forest and you can also get a remembrance from It too. And for the kindling, you're supposed to fight messmer in the specimen storehouse then Teleport to the centipede scorpion boss location and burn the tree which then it will teleport you to the final area for the final boss

i really hope brad keeps the online thing up because having the sense of not alone due to people leaving messages on the ground and actually helped brad find things that he would possibly wont find gave the ease feeling in most of our hearts i will tell you that, plus seeing people reaction/expressions puts the game in another whole new situation of fun experience

Hey brad love the series heres a tip kill the giant fire torch things you see they drop tears for your flask. Easy way to kill them is to strike their legs till they fall then crit them do this 4 or 5 times and they're dead

When you beat Putrescent Knight and drank that liquid and died 3 times. If you drink it more you’ll start getting dialogue each time to drink more. I think you have to drink it a total of 6 times to get all the dialogue

Heads up, you can parry the lantern creatures. When they go to grab you you can parry them and then kill them. Or backstab them. First one I know works, second option I'm not sure about

To see if you would survive a fall you could always use the rainbow stones and drop one over the edge, if it breaks you'd die if it stays intact you'd live 👍

Just a heads up you can’t get invaded when in a boss fight, also if you do get invaded you can enter a boss arena and the invader will be kicked from your world

Hey Brad, when you’re playing solo you won’t be invaded unless you use the Furcalling Finger Remedy and then Taunter’s Tongue. if you are invaded without turning these on, it’s an NPC. by the time you see this comment you’ll have probably figured this out. Also a lot of the complaints on Steam is performance. which is funny because i play on a Nitro 5 and get 60 FPS with High graphics. no issues ever. so either my cheap laptop is a work horse, or those people with better set ups have some underlying issues with their CPU or GPU’s. The ones that complain about difficulty have no idea how to play without a guide and literally forgot how the beginning of the base game is set up the exact same way, explore first. boss fights later. the DLC area does feel like a completely new game when you start. idk why people thought they could blindly take on bosses right away with a simple bleed build.

Your supposed to throw fire bombs in the top of that fire giants head and it does like half of his health gone, you can craft them or find them through out the game. You can beat them by hacking at the legs but it takes forever

For the dragon boss bayle id definitely recommend using the dragon hunter great katana it does extra damage to dragons halfway through vid rn so idk if you went back to him or not

Just completed yesterday. But I just needed to kill Messmer and then the game pointed me to the last boss. It “strange”. Because I didn’t need to explore the area to the south.
