For some reason it took me 10 dead to think i can actually jump over it

Literally the most unfun boss in the dlc imo

This is my favorite boss of the dlc so far personally

@@jamielee5695 i know right? I think a lot of people dont like it because of the difficulty same with every boss but when the dust settles on the dlc i hope people will like it as much as i do. The design is so cool too i have no idea the lore reason for it but orphan of kos combined with gravelord nito? Insane

@@dreadlord1265 my thoughts exactly. You just have to get in a mode where you're enjoying the learning process of the bosses moves each round til it becomes 2nd nature, this guy took em nearly 40 tries so I'm not exactly a pro player or anything lmao but it's so fun. So far none of the bosses have felt unfair to me, but I've heard horror stories about a few so we'll see & yeah the design is amazing! My fav fromsoft game is Bloodborne so I was digging the design

Aint forcing you to do anything. Just learn his attacks and how to punish him. I.e. Get Gud.

The delayed attacks are rough but once you get the timing down it’s not too bad

The dlc bosses are tooo powerful. You can die in just 2 hits

yeah seeing all these dlc bosses, mimic tear really trivialises all of them apparently

you dodge the aoe by jumping, but yeah everything else is rough

You jump, his combos are easy to dodge and most give you an opportunity to get a hit off. I beat it with a colossal sword in like 5 attempts…

@@tarot1919 nah, hes just RNG, I beated him after somewhat 17 tries when I got good RNG, this boss sucks

@@edusiqkaonergeNah man it really is just a skill issue - I agree that there aren’t that many windows to attack but they are absolutely there and you definitely don’t have to trade blows to get them in. There’s the obvious ones like the end of the combo where he dismounts but there’s also when he does the downward hit with both hands on the weapon! You can also jump over some of the horizontal slashes to get free jump attacks when he starts those strings. Not to mention the frostbite attacks become much more manageable if you realize you can just jump over them

I find this second coolest boss in dlc after messmer, his movesets looks fun to learn

If you never played the older souls game you wouldn't have known this "PILE" is mixture of old boss stuff (Aldfich from Dark souls 3, with Gravelord Nito death theme from Dark souls 1, Orphan of Kos from bloodborne DLC, all in Darkeater MidIr's boss room from DS3 Also get a damn PFP before you talk
