This boss is molesting me for five hours straight and it is still going on

Remember Rennala? The boss that can easily be defeated by spamming any type of attack, easily staggering her and preventing her from casting her abillities. Now its payback time with Rellana, and oh boy she is spamming hard.

She's like a buffed up Dancer.

Played first two bosses, gotta say, these might be my favorite bosses of all of Elden ring , the phases, the difficulty, the dance

This was just what I needed since I'm taking elenoras blade into the DLC, didn't even think using it while one handed. Currently struggling on her.

Time how you use your special skill with the mimic in unison to stagger. Worked this morning.

im on ng 7 and she just one shots me, any attack, and my first hit does 1k damage and its like im doing 1% hp damage

It genuinly took me about 40-50 attempts. Same armor used but with greatsword. The attack variety, combinations and speed are insane in the last third of her hp. She might be on par with malenia to some degree.

This boss on NG+7 is pain….

I used the great shield soldier ashes and they kinda broke her so I had to look up what the fight was supposed to look like 😭

I had myself screaming in awe along the video, you even got the music timing at the end like- *WOAAAHHH*

Beat her in my NG+4 save file with dual greatsword (the weapon type not Guts' sword) build. Shit was agonizing. 3+ hours. She consistently 2 shot me.

If anyone is still having trouble, the Scarlet Aeonia incantation is able to get rid of about 1/2 to 3/4 of her health with some incantation buff talismans. But trying to land this move without dying if you're playing on anything past NG+4 is a death sentence.

I killed her so quickly I was sad that I didn't get to learn her mechanics. She looked so cool for a moment. lol

Rivers of blood + Ekzyke’s Decay was how I beat her after dying hundreds of times.

I honestly believe I died AT LEAST 75 times to this monstrosity

I have been at it for days.. new game+7 with 4 shards of whatever and this boss won't even budge from my glass cannon damage build, oh and she onetaps me every time.

I'm on level 350 and NG+9 and this is a nightmare, I didn't know how difficult would be just 2 hits in less than 1 second, if anyone knows any tip for help, I'd be appreciated :'(

Had to use mimic tear for her after hours of not defeating her. She wouldve been a fantastic boss if it werent for stupid combos

legit almost had an heart attack after beating her, ridiculous combos

I beat her utilizing Eleonora’s Poleblade, a pike with blood tax and my mimic tear. Took me a while but hit and run tactics work. Don’t over commit, dodge often and when she goes for the big attacks keep your distance and heal. It’s hard but you guys will get there.

Gotta say she's way more enjoyable to learn than the lion. Such a good boss fight. Having fun learning her moves. She moves just like melania just crazier and cast spells

I get they didn’t want us to enter the DLC overpowered so we got the nerf treatment but it’s ridiculous that these bosses are just ranking the strongest spells and miracles in the game backed by builds like they’re nothing. Straight up doing 1/50th of a health bar with a full black blade combo blast.

What I've noticed is the dlc bosses look really hard but they leave good windows to punish after a long combo witch Is good to see

oh lets put in the dual wielding spamming abandoned knight from farum azula with a lovely shitty mix of pontiff in there thatll be fun, in all fairness the second phase is fun but the rng on the first one ate my ass

If you are having trouble with this boss, try parrying, its hard to get the timing right but when you get it is absolutely satisfying

Reminds me of nameless puppet. Dodging to your left toward her could be the best tactic

This boss sucks (specifically her extremely long and hard to dodge combos). I have died around 50 times. Im using the great katana and it seems impossible to get an opening of more than one r1 or ash of war (Making it difficult to keep pressure up for a stance break). The dancing lion boss fight was amazing and probably one of my favorites in the entire game, but I am really disappointed with this one. If anyone has any tips, I would be very open to hearing them. Also I am wondering if I should just go increase my attack power and then come back. I am currently at level 3 attack power and level 120 rune level.

Now try doing no status effects and on NG+7... That was my experience

I just beat her as a jump attacking dual giant crusher tank build and it was hell but managed to scrape by on the 15th attempt somehow. Lena was the meatshield while my mimic and I hammered the piss out of her lol

A very very easy cheese, is to poke her with a bleed weapon behind a greatshield. She cannot break that shield at all. It made this boss fight a piece of cake.

This boss is incredible, the thing that agitates me mostly is the arena. It's just an ugly square, this room make no sense from an architectural standpoint, too.

2 hits is all it takes for us to die while we need 100 hits to kill this thing lv 300 doesnt mean shit in this dlc thats why i love it

she’s similar to Isshin in Sekiro, wish i can defect and have a umbrella

Gotta say, this boss is flashy and cool af (and so is the reward, then swords still hit hard when we use em!). The caveat? They’re so flashy they lag my game and completely fuck up my controls in the second phase

I had to use mimic tear to beat this.

First boss that forced me a respec, with int-dex is a madness guys, holy shit

Seeing these comments really makes me feel better that I’m not the only one having trouble with this boss. 20+ tries in, Im starting to get her combos down but I still eventually slip up.

Lets make this boss have infinite stamina and deplete that of the players. Devs: yes.

I don’t think she’s as hard as Malenia since she doesn’t have the waterfowl dance. But the extreme aggressiveness and infinite poise screwed me up

A knight flying like spider man with all that Armor is soo unrealistic and BS and they say this boss fight requires Patience but Patience gonna bite you in the ass if you don’t act quickly

Definitely harder than Malenia if fought normally. I stabbed her with Milady ash of war and it somehow worked and managed to beat her solo

as someone using a darkmoon build, i cant seem to find an opening to hit him. bullshit ass boss imo, forcing you to use quick weapons.

she doesnt make SENSE!!!! you dont have a moment to hit her , shes highley unpredictable and she fights like shes one of the black knives assassins,

beaten her on 1st attempt in coop, kind of sad, wasn't even ng+, should have tried alone first
