@@Orchirollen interesting. It is what it is i guess, can't have everything. I just got a ps5 and my copy of elden ring just shipped today so I've got awhile before I can find first hand, lol. Still I know it's gonna be great regardless.
My only complaint is that there weren’t more rewards. The putrescent spells and the knight’s weapon are cool, but a reskinned slightly buffed Trina’s sword and a flower for the hair are rather lackluster sleep offerings. Would have liked some kind of purple dress to go with the flower. Lorewise this quest is completely satisfying to me, not sure what else people really wanted from Saint Trina.
@@traveleramongstars4600wow thanks for the answer, it makes me happy to know we atleast got a cosmetic related to her. I use the flower crown alot so I'm sure I will like it! Thanks.
Yeah the way Trina says Miquella shouldn't become a god, yet the final fight is all about that, seems like there's just something off with it or there's another decision somewhere.
@@jesseroberts5728 Miquella cast off his St. Trina persona, effectively rejecting her advice, so that kinda makes sense. Though it still isn't clear what he was actually trying to achieve, or how and why Radahn fits into it...
@@ArawnOfAnnwn Do you know atm if it explains anywhere why the St Trina persona would become a hindrance that he had to get rid of it? It's just so strange, even reading the description of Miquella's crown gives me the vibe that, that is suppose to be his mending rune. Even where his great rune is dropped is strange, but I havent read anything about why that's there yet.
so thanks to this quest, we can kind of guess that marika could split herself into radagon and marika, so the process of creating malenia and miquella becomes easier to imagine
Not sure if it’s intentional or not, but thats looks so similar to darkeater midirs arena, I have a theory that the world was built on top of all the ash after the ashen one ended the age of fire
No these are totally seperate worlds confirmed by devs and absolutely nothing lines up lore wise between the games. Not to mention that the only reason any of dark souls ever happened was because gwyn found out dragons were weak to lightning, and in elden ring dragons use lightning
Okay, genuine question: Is it worth bothering with ANY of the questlines in the DLC? Because from the looks of it, none of them are worth going through the trouble or losing any sleep over, unlike with the base game.
It is worth it. Most of these questlines are rather straightforward (this being the only case, since the game _never_ tells you that you should drink the poison 6 times to hear the dialogue). But overall they are all rather interesting and give explanations on lore and some of the main characters. One of them (Count Ymir) even unlocks a Legend Boss.
that's what i wanna know too and i have read conflicting stories, all the guides end when you are able to summon him and don't say anything about visiting her after but i also saw people say that there is something extra if you visit her after u defeat miquella but they didn't say what even after people asked them about it, which leads me to believe they were simply trolling probably and that here is where the quest actually ends.
You can summon Thiollier during the final fight and he dies at the end of it. You can find his weapon and armor set on his corpse inside the arena. Pretty sad ending, but in the end he died fulfilling what his saint wanted. As for St. Trina, she dies once you kill Miquella because she was his other half, and you can loot a flower-like helmet from her body.
Another NPC quest that leads to nothing and that are disappointing? These mistakes were already made in Dark Souls 3 and in Elden Ring it is repeated with several NPCs. Those are unbearable things about Elden Ring.
There is no pleasing you nerds. By all means, make your own game. Like seriously, how sad does your life have to be for one of the probable contenders for best videogame DLC of all time to be “unbearable” and “disappointing”? 🤦🏽♂️ go complain about woke agendas in call of duty or something lil bro
@@AshiwiZuniI genuinely have no idea why you're getting your getting bricked over by one of the few complaints over this dlc that has been overhyped since announcement. This dlc is by no means perfect and people have the right to share their criticisms over it who have bought the dlc in hopes of enjoyment and some answers in regards to lore, and by the looks of the majority this questline was widely mediocre. Instead of sitting on your ass and spewing meaningless insults to the people who have something to say apart from the train of dickriders who is echo chambering the same appraisals without constructive criticism, why don't you take the time to actually play the game and then add a genuine counter argument instead of relying on the esteemed reputation this game has garnered for being the "Probable contenders for best dlc of all time"
