Chase vids are just entertaining and if you think about it, some Hosts are struggling for their survival and Chase is just chilling and trying out stuff. If that alone isnt funny then his commentary is the cherry on top. Id like to suggest another cosplay video: Nox. Use their garment and weapons like the nox flowing hammer you tried in a weapon showcase, also curious whether they have more hp armor now and are better in general.
Chase is the only content creator that I watch every single day. And it’s been like that for years! Since Dark Souls 3. I wish he would stream invasions again!
Zwei and stamp upward cut was my bread and butter before my console broke, can't wait to get another and come back to try it after the changes to hyper armour.
Nice to see stamp getting some love, since 1.10 dropped I've been using Stamp: Sweep on my arcane build for the hyper armour, also no-one expects it as its such a little used Ash of War
@@reaper3509 what I mean is that you can't put any infusion on the Golem Halberd and keep its Charge Forth Ash of War - that Ash is unique to the Golem Halberd, at least among the Colossal Weapon class. There exists a Charge Forth Ash that you can put on weapons, but only on Halberds, Spears and Great Spears (i.e. the Lance). So while Charge Forth on the Golem's Halberd is cool, it'd be cooler if you could get more damage via infusions out of it without sacrificing its AOW.

I've been telling people about this lately haha it's so good. I've been using the stamp (sweep) a little more than the upward but both are insanely good as we all witnessed here haha
I love this AoW it’s so satisfying to land that roll catch. Useful mixup: Stamp > R1 > R1. Once folks expect the follow up and decide to trade or guard. If using the twinblade talisman you’ll get a 40% buff to the second R1 as the stamp counts toward the UGS’ three hit attack chain. Super useful against someone who thinks they have a R1 > R1 true combo. Trade the first hit with stamp to tank the damage and then out poise the second hit and true combo your own R1s. This will almost always proc frost or bleed too. I’ve been loving a blood infused watchdogs greatsword on my strength build for this reason. Showcase: Greataxes Cosplay: Juno and his dishonest whips Build: Katana w/ offhand UGS. Apparently this is pretty good. Meteoric Ore blade and Ruins? On Str/Int or: Nagakiba and Zwei on dex? I’m really into unusual pairings at the moment. Looking forward to the next one!
I've been using buncha colossals this ng+3 @ around 180 and since 1.10 I have a 7/10 survival rate on 1v1 invasions using alberic's tongue. I'm starting to poke again a lot more than I did around launch which I didnt think would happen since that "big nerf". Lovin it tbh. Edit: Poke into stamp looks insanely good at roll catches woah
It’s actually good though, because you can get a two hit R1 chain after a stamp that’s great with the twinblade talisman. It would not work if sweep was on the r1.
@@kiltysalter2966 just press the r2 That was the cool thing about square off and stamp, it gave yoy a coinflip to catch other players, if you wanna skip the first r1 just use the move that skips the r1
Hoping we see the overhead slam version of stomp with the guard point in the DLC. Lion's Claw is close to it but it doesn't feel as fun as pancaking someone with the flat side of your sword lmao.
The first invasion is literally my first week in elden ring meta. I started co-op recently, and most common experience is: mages has no hp, died from the first blow.
I did this colosal stomp giant crusher build SL 125 since day 1 it actually good that can 1 shot every one, now it's even better I also asking if chase can try that build, it's so fun to surprise enemy
Arc/Faith is still pretty fun, turns out Bleed is pretty good. Even at only 45 Arc you still get 100+ bleed on most weapons and you have access to tons of damage types and utility: +24 lordsworn straight swords have 328 AR and 107 bleed, DCS has 336 incant scaling at 45/45, Erdsteel Daggers hit 469 with Flame/Sacred, Flame Knight GS is 563 even at 12 Str and 683 2-handed, Flame Art Mantis Blade is 553 and Spin Slash. Been super fun overall, 60/37/19/12/12/7/45/45 is the stats but honestly you don't need nearly that much mind if you want to drop down to 137

Are you proud of that fashion today? 😂 On the note of stamp, sweep pre-1.10 was decent for dealing with multiple targets. Maybe give that one a try now?

Single Great Epee/Godskin Stitcher with an offhand dagger or rapier is what I used for most of my first playthrough. Would love to see how it works for you :)
Hey Chase, would be lovely to see you try out Vow of Indomitable! It's an AoW for shields, and grants you some very long iFrames, in exchange of your mobility. It may be useful to avoid some high dmg attacks while retaliating afterwards?
