Chase, i know you're pretty good at pvp but do you have some bad encounters often? like tryhards gankers, i can understand you don't show off that parts of your invasions cause toxicity but i just was wondering
I've been invading a lot building up to Shadow of the Erdtree release, with my typical dubious success (always fun tho!). Chase generally inspiring, but especially so when I have an inkling of how incredibly good his PvP approach is when outnumbered. The mix of intelligence and gameplay never ceases to amaze
Quit outs...man you know they'd absolutely be tbagging anyone they kill too. I get not liking invaders sure but to be a baby and a hypocrite is so sad.
13:54 man your swap have gotten soo good since the blessed days of ds3 doges mage hit menu swap lighting in 2 sec so clean also ender i swear since ds3 people just don't get it give you poise don't aimless swing into it too many good laugh in this video brother thank you for a wonderful saturated upload
5:31 Never expected the host to jump into the blender, and even less expected was watching him being pushed off into the chasm. A one in a kind kill.(And a good old solid laugh to boot, as well). 🤣
Making a comment on a two year old video to say this man (10:00) did _not_ use a healing flask, he used the much slower Physick with a Crimson Crystal Tear put in it (the one that restores 50% of your life when drank), you can argue whether or not the Crimson Crystal Tear is toxic but I'm of the opinion that if you give your opponent the opportunity to drink a Physick in the middle of a duel, even one that _doesn't_ have any healing in it, then you aren't putting enough pressure on your opponent and are playing much too passively, that would be like getting mad at someone for using a healing spell because you let them walk 30 feet away from you and were subsequently too far away to punish them for it. Simply put, Chase let the man get way too much distance for free, which made what should have been a punishable heal a free healing opportunity. Healing in duels should only be frowned upon when their is an inherent imbalance of power, like Hosts having twice as many healing flasks as Phantoms, which is not the case for the Physick because both players have 1 each, and can choose to build it however they please. I don't see anyone complaining about the Crimson Bubble Tear in duels, despite the fact that it is just a less effective Crimson Crystal Tear that is safer and more reliable because you can drink in advance of taking damage.
Bearer of the torch Seek runes. Larger, more powerful runes. Seek the queen, that is the only way. Lest the wizards swallow you whole... As it has so many others.
People who quit out the second it's a one-on-one are hilarious. You're at the grace, my dude. A death would mean absolutely nothing negative for you. It would actually be faster than a quit out, and the invasion timer would start up, giving you a breather. It just comes down to a fragile, fragile little ego. You just have to laugh it off, I guess. Or block them, while we still have the player count to not miss them :)
The invader at 18:15 actually has the same armor I have on my original character, I used in my first playthrough. I love that helmet with the scaled armor.
