Just wanted to say, I was co-oping and got invaded the other day and managed to win a 1v1 to save my host from him, because I remembered all the stuff you do in your videos in terms of mixups and rollcatches and general spacing. Thank you, Chase. You indirectly saved some random host from a guy powerstancing spears.
Learn from the best and you're bound to get better right? I know I've gotten a lot better by keeping his words and tactics in mind when I'm invading or fighting an invader. Both what to do and what not to do
Wizards mentioned at least 15 times: 01:36 Wizard! Wizard? Wizard. Wizard. 01:47 I'm gonna get hit by the Wizard, I think 02:11 Hey Wizard 10:05 I see the Wizard 10:30 Wizard! My Wizard-instincts were tingling 10:54 Wizard! 10:59 Hey Wizard 11:12 Wizard died? 13:26 Hi guys, Wizard? One Wizard 17:07 I'm going to go after your Wizard Since I started counting there were 3500.2 mentionings of Wizards across 297 videos. Bonus: 03:54 15:48
That second invasion was great bc it felt like Chase really had a challenge there for once and it wasn’t from some overpowered builds, just really good team work.
Tbf the solution is way too difficult to implement, see what you have to do is you need a ping filter and that's about it tbh. There'd be edge cases but probably 90% of these issues wouldn't be issues, or at least not nearly as bad of issues.
I'm sure some people just have bad net but people accuse me of it all the time, when the fact is I'm in Australia with decent internet. The ping is purely due to distance. Also, if someone is teleporting around for you, I guarantee you are lagging for them too. That guy was probably like "Man, this guy's net is dogshit."
Homie blocking the door with the spinning blade so his homies could catch up was like a movie moment. Chase escaped but I was low key hyped when that man turned the corner.
Str int has an insane amount of utility, especially for invasions. Definitely one of the strongest hybrid builds. I bet cold psss broadswords would be insane lmao
Counterpoint: Dex/Arcane is obscenely safe for how good it is, and also scales for PvE, unlike bleedless STR builds who cannot scale infinitely like bleed procs 🫠
Chase you are the best definition of a homie. Such a good vibe all the time and even complementing your opponents since the good ol DS3 days. Keep being awesome my dude. 🤙🏻
Str Int videos show that its definitely the best way to get gravity kills. Well, mostly starscourge greatsword, but yeah! 9:45 blue was sneaky, but chase was sneakier. 1392 damage 15:50 i absolutely lost it. That has to be one of the funnier suicides. I cant tell if it was accidental or dude just said fuck it im out. 1062 damage, from nearly full hp 16:40 Tragoth fell off, nothing else could possibly have killed him that quick. Approx 10k damage. Man i really wish i couldve seen that damage bar. Honorable mentions: 5:14 some gravity damage And at 6:00 not sure what happened there. Was that a gravity kill? 51 gravity kills since march 9th, totaling approx 50k damage (counting the 10k from tragoth)
Chase thanks for taking revenge on our behalf on the NPC gankers in the precipice. The host I was invading, though, had a super toxic madness build and would not chase after me when using the elevator. Still, good to see these people getting spanked.
I want to see an invisible build, mimic veil with invisible weapon with unseen form and concieling veil WITH bolt of Gransax/cannon is just diabolical.
strength int builds are so fun, having a high amount of both strength and int lets a heavy infused weapon buffed with scholars armament easily go up another few hundred AR
I was a pyromancer hybrid for most of ER, but then i made a gravity knight. I honesty think str/int is the best invasions build. You have meta picks with str, just with more amazing tools like starscourge greatsword and falling star beast jaw.
Always love the videos and they encourage me to keep playing and make builds around your videos. I usually only host and taunters tongue to bring in a solo invader for a 1v1 type environment. I don't use a rune arc and don't mind if there's heals, do invaders dislike this type of host or do they enjoy not having to 1v2/3 all the time? My only issue is just having to wait for an invader around rune level 160 to 200. I don't usually do 125 just because admittedly i'm kinda trash but I think it's fun at least for me to get back into the swing of things before the DLC. Thanks for the content again and confidence boost watching your videos!
Some strong and well organised opponents today. Things were getting hairy in the Haligtree. I’ve been experimenting with the crucible incantations lately and I’ve been finding some great launcher + wake-up combos. I think my favourite now is Lightning slash on a Nagakiba into crucible horns as a follow up, and vice-versa. Feels great, looks anime, especially having the Lightning buff on the sheathe as the shoulder charge happens. Recommend trying it out for yourself. Catch ya next time!
could be wrong but dont think ive seen you use spectral lance chase, nice on banished knight's halberd which gets A in arcane occult would be a fun one
Would love to see Dex/Faith build focused around buffing up and endure-trading with the Godslayer Greatsword's AoW, it hits like a freight train and the follow up heavy has good rollcatch potential
6:29 The perfect time to listen how much noise a pin does when it hits the floor. 15:50 "Time to hit the old silk. Geronimoooooo.....Oh shit, wrong backpack". 🤣
@@Adam-tu1qx I’ve been watching Chase bro for about 8 years now i’ve been playing dark souls ever since I was 8 I had the honors of 1v1ing chase the BRO himself
I've been using the Flamberge on an Arcane build (Prepping for the DLC since I want high drop rates) and was wondering what your take on that would be. I'm kind of torn between Seppuku and Blood Tax at the moment. Kinda wish I had a second Flamberge so I could just switch at will.
I wanted to ask, do you go thru any # of NG+ cycles to get all those weapons? Or is it just trading items online? Purely curious because I've been debating on going NG+ just for weps
16:30 glad you destroyed that guy, that's some real bottom-tier maidenless behavior.... Doing a NG+7 NPC duo gank with the two tankiest NPCs. Unbelievably pathetic.
starting a backstab counter with this video 04:39 blue gets halberded 11:53 All blue like is L2, but Chase loves the backstab 13:00 Asslicknuts.. great name not so great luck 13:35 Another great name, Stickysugerstick got stuck. 15:20 Jump attacks are fun but spamming it gets you backstabbed 16:15 chase dodged the booty to get the booty With the start of this count I am at 6 Backstabs i hope ill be able to keep count throughout the rest of the next vids
5:24 - Watching it again, I noticed the Phantom hit the branch of a tree falling down. He got caught on it for a second or so before then falling to the ground. That's why he didn't die and lost surprisingly little health.
Hey chase can you make a build that you would use as "the ultimate PvP build" that's like extremely versatile with a variety of weapons that can go around any situation? Would be cool to see you just going straight to the kill as efficient as possible with a build like that
I feel like that last one was a respectable gank. They saw that you wouldn't have any trouble with one of them, and gave you a more appropriate fight. Felt like good fun.
Have you given Lifesteal Fist a shot before on a Dex/Int build? It gets bonus AR from magic damage buffs like Scholar's Armament for reasons I don't understand/cannot articulate and can one-shot people if you tag them with it. I've been using it on Keen Hookclaws at RL 200.
17:00 I guess the idea of the "half gank" was to not fight inside the elevator but for some reason the other guy kept going there for heals? Idk, it was very strange.
I literally just changed my lvl 150 pure strength toon to a strength int. Build two days ago and its awesome. I wemt with 18 int and 20 dex though so i coukd utilize rock sling for a few gravity spells. The dmg sucks but the pull and stagget is fum to spam 😂.
How come you use stormhawk axes on the top row instead of waves of darkness? I find it to be more thematically fitting and useful as a get off me tool.
i had a strength build with nearly 100 usable weapons and just kind of hit a wall and then converted it to str int with significantly fewer weapons but it's so much more fun, ruins ugs and fallingstar beast jaw are some of the most fun weapons ever
9:00 these type of invasions are so annoying. happens to me constantly invading elden beast just to be sent home. Thanks for the hallway invasions fromsoft theyre so fun!
This video had some messed up shit lmao. The "you are already dead" packet loss, the post-boss spawn, the skydiving host and the indecisive gank squad.
Can we get some sleep bow invasions on light roll? When you sleep people, you hard swap to Storm Hawk or Giant Hunt for cheesy wins. I don't know why, but sleep bow invasions are so calming.
Ok maybe I'm an idiot but I gotta ask how tf you have so many builds readily available? Is there a way to get infinite larval tears or is it just a ton of new characters?
That dude with the greatsword in the mine, he got that r2 braggarts roar, if he were to knew the r2 r1 true combo he would have killed you 😂. I got more surprised than you it seems
He usually kills the host. He sometimes path bugs the NPCs to where they can't get to him, or just one-shots the host if the host's skill is at the typical low level. Sleeping the NPCs is also an option.
Sir Ass Lick Nuts at 12:36 had me laughing so hard.If I had to guess,he’s not running with intellegence.Lmfao.Legendary invasions as always chase man.x
