I’m always excited to hear people passionately talk about games. Elden Ring feels like a present that you get to unwrap over and over again. It’s like a love letter to RPG fans. Great video man
brother i was watching your videos and just talking to myself that there is noooo way this guy only has 4k subs Keep it up man im Seing you in 1million subs already nice video btw , very well put together 🤝
Great summary and analysis. I agree or can completely understand every one of your points. I felt the same way after my first playthrough two years ago, got pumped for the DLC, and made a level 1 character to enter Land of Shadows. After the DLC arrived, I just decided to make it to NG+7 with my main level 450 + character since I never imagined I would ever enter into a journey 8 in any game. The quick game loop and ability to bypass uninteresting repeated content quickly made this extremely attainable, but the game's flaws become increasingly clear, as you mention. Personally, I find balancing issues that have to be fixed in a later patch one of the sloppiest characteristics that plague the game, which obviously did not suffer from any lack of developer attention. Again, great video.
I'm only half-way through and I just wanna drop a comment to help out with the algorithm. This is truly top notch content and very objective opinions, which I adore in game-essays. Keep up the good work bro!
I have found ER has great replay value. I have used different weapons and had one playthrough with no buffs, spells, or incantations. Each playthrough was different because you had to interact with each encounter differently.
