He literally says to only use it for bursting bosses and not for normal play. You can just not cast when youre worried about survivability. You could change the talisman on the fly as well but not everyone is that good at menuing mid fight nor do most people want to.

despite that, most people would still be too lazy for that(even me), but yes if you're fine with hard swapping, you could lose the arsenal jar and gain a talisman slot in some of the build cases. but i did mention the builds are all done with 1 stat spread, so the idea is for people to play around for various situations on the fly! The weapons all weigh around the same too for easy hotswapping.

with great katanas existing now, str/bleed could be a lot more juicier. those tiwnblades, moghs spear, mirais exeuctioner, star fist. BEAST CLAWS. good set. all depends on how much dex odachis take before I pull the trigger on a build, we'll get previews on the 15 I think so hopefully some stat info is known

ah knew i forgot something! prophet! the lv200 setups show the class used. but prophet and samurai are good to go. vagabond is bis tho, it saves 1 point.

i would just use giants seal in that case. erdtree is great too but doesn't provide additional bonuses outside of just high scaling.

No, the difference in difficulty from normal to Ng+ is minimal. That being said, they mentioned difficulty would be a different leveling? Way in shadow of erdtree.

Have you played fromsoft games before ? This isn't Sekiro, the combat in these games were never "Good".

lvl just matters for pvp/co-op, but tbh, 200 can't even match with the other meta bracket which is 150, so honestly not sure why people stop at lv200 aside just being an even number. i guess 200 can summon 170s while 205 can only do 175, at 200+ its not a big deal tbh. you can use a summon calc on fextra or elsewhere to gauge what the summon range is. i think 164 is the best since you can invade from 150-to 200 and summon lv138s still. also you can respec in the game with larval tears so its not like you have to have the 12 arcane if you wanted to get rid of it later, making a build around early game till you beat the game then respec is common practice.

BB is all you need, really but I agree with you on having a need for more op faith weapons and looking elsewhere. Hopefully we get access to more larval tears in the DLC

simply put 3 more pts into dex taking away from faith :3 as for armor, yah, generally if you can get it to 51 or higher, you can wear whatever you want! 51 and 101 are the main target points for poising pve attacks
