I pre ordered Elden Ring on PS5 but after 4 hours of countless deaths in Limegrave I gave it up. Put the disc away and accepted that there's no chance I'll play that game again. As a new player a lot of times I feel super lost and alone wondering around aimlessly with my heart pounding at every corner. These videos help tremendously, I feel like I’m on an adventure with you. Like a co-op sorta kinda

I know my comment is 3 weeks late, but I don't understand why people complained about the length of the first video. I suspect they either weren't noobs, or aren't actually playing. As a noob who is playing, what I believe is your intended audience, the first video was perfect and this one was too rushed and you left out content just because people had complained on the first. You can't please everyone but I liked the way the first one was done.

So I suck at this. The crucible Knight has killed me 4 times and I haven't gotten him below half. I am OP but not enough to make up for my level of suckitude, lol. It is only thanks to you that I have made it this far. I think I will skip him for a while and try to level up a little more before trying again. This doesn't bode well for the real bosses, but I am not giving up yet. Anyway, I know I wouldn't be this far without your videos so I really appreciate them.

At 13:10 - that cookbook allows you to make sleep-pots. Super important. Since there's no way to cheese getting somber smithing stone 7 anymore, you have to go back to Volcano Manor and fight a boss. Happily you can put his butt to sleep using sleep pots. The rest is a very fast run thru mobs but eventually you can come out onto that balcony and snatch that 7 stone.

1:07:25 You can get the Godrick Soldiers spirit ashes at the graveyard with the medusas, which is a quite good early game spirit summon.

In 2023, the Somber Smithing Stone #7 is patched, and can only be obtained by defeating the boss in that area. Also, at around 1 hour 7 min, where the jellies are, there is also the Godrick Soldier Ashes (a summon)! Your walkthroughs have been amazing!

120 hours and I thought I need to farm the yellow finger paint when you can just craft them.. Its so fun to make a new char and play along with the videos.. and they are so well made too. Also at the end where the jelly fish are, is a summon.

For anyone struggling missing the somber 7. The farm Azula wrong warp works. Did it on Xbox as of 11/25/22. Try loading to the castleward tunnel instead of the round table and exit out exactly when the loading bar is full. Hope this helps. Took me a few tries. But I got my somber 7!!!

Excellent series, I've already played through the game but this is so much more efficient than everything I did! You might know this by now, but the Bell-bearing Hunter bosses replace certain merchants only at night. If you come at night and the boss isn't there but the merchant is, simply resting at the nearest site of grace and getting up again should spawn them. This happens if you pass time until night, you need to rest a second time without doing anything else to spawn them.

I tried to get into this game at launch, but I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me, it looked so fun too.. I just started to get back into it because you popped up on my home feed, and now thanks to you the game makes sense and I’ve gotten past the first shardbearer.. thank you so much, the way you explain everything in detail really helps noobs like me lol

Why would people complain bout the long video, people need to get their priority straight if they complaining bout a video. It’s a guide you don’t have to see and watch the entire thing in one sitting, I usually use this guides as I play, watch few mins to see where he going and then I follow on my game …

Up the hill with the floating jellyfish, there is also Godrick Soldier Ashes.

To trigger the invasion at Knight Bernahl you just need to talk to him then make it night time, then travel to another grace and back to make it middle of the night. Works every time.

@Jumpin you talked about Starlight Shards as a currency. I recommend you tell viewers to keep 7 of them as you can use 5 to buy the Dung Eater Puppet Summon.

Super helpful series. Liked and subbed. I'm a first-time Souls gamer. I spent 30 hours exploring Limgrave on my own and leveling up as best I could...but I knew I missed things, which I'd probably never be able to experience without some guidance since I'm still trying to figure the whole thing out. Your content is just what's needed to go back and have the full experience. This game is mindblowing. (And don't let them pressure you into shortening your content. You've got it perfectly dialed-in imho).

Mate, I know this may be old news now, but Old Kenneth there was trying to get the Demi-Humans to serve him, so after you cleared the fort back for him, that's what happened. But they didn't do as he wanted, and overran the fort themselves.

Man I have been for every noobs guides and they are always so helpful. This one is no different, thanks man. I will say though my favorite jumpin moment was the sl1 ds3 dancer fight, my god that was funny.

by the stormhill shack where you skipped the right path up to the upper cemetery part, there was actually a worthwhile goodie with godrick spirit ashes (and the level 1 smithing stone). amazing guide btw!!! this game is so much funner when you know where to go instead of trial and error. edit: btw by the lance ash of war, there is a lying down giant statue that turns into an enemy if you walk up to it!

Man, how does this guy not have more subscribers? I'm on my 2nd play through, and will be able to follow these guides from the start this time. Had to jump in around episode 4 last time, and had already missed loads.

About 4 years ago I thought I'd try bloodborne then went onto finish not only that but all dark souls also . That time of my life was very tough so playing souls/borne games may have seemed like a bad decision as I was new to the games .then I discovered jumpin .absolutely love your guides whenever i remember playing those games or talk about them to friends I always associate them with jumpin . Now some 4/5 years on and I have elden ring and watching your guides/following brings back a ton of memories. Thankyou jumpin for all you do you really are something special.

Cliff drop tip: If you throw a rainbow stone off a cliff and it breaks you will NOT survive the fall. If however the stone does Not break then you can jump you will survive the fall. :)

Daaaamn - Red War shack knight is too much for me. I can get him to half health and that's it. I need more skillz and defences plus the patch stopping me getting the Somber 7 means my weapon is only 6+ . The shield block isn't good enough. Vigor is at 27 (with talisman) BTW = You need to go in and buy out of stock items (failed purchase) - then leave and set to night. I'm using a PC and it's known that this is a poorer performance platform (Keyboard/Mouse). I've done Witcher 3 on Death March...so I'm not awful, but I must accept I'm part of the problem. BTW - Awesome tutorial series

At the 1 hour 7 minute mark you mention that there is an area with Jellyfish but there is nothing up there but grease and another crafting material. As this is my second play through I figured I would check it out. Godrick Soldier Ashes are also up here.

Couldn’t get the brass shield to drop in the last one but got one at the fort before killing the night if anyone had trouble with the rng at the castle. Other than that been having a great time following along with the guide thanks for making this

Stuck on the Bell Bearing Hunter as the somber smithing stone seven has not been acquired due to patch. Going to get it eventually just thought I might not be the only one. Great guides man.
