I love boatman. I love when I find him multiple times during a playthrough. Boatman is the best, he doesn't care about you or your stupid meta build, he just wants to row and row. Start appreciating boatman for what he is, a true chad. The end of the world is near? Zero fucks given, boatman enjoys the waves and course of the river. Honestly, just pure swag.
Boatlord Nito is a fun one that I was totally blind to. I saw a boss message but had no idea I’d be attacked by a guy towing a boat and summoning skeletons. I stayed on torrent leaping over and cutting down mobs, slashing at him when I broke through them, heck of a lotta fun
Playing as astrologer, this is one of the most hilariously stupid bosses I’ve ever fought. Poor bastard just kept rowing slowly as I pelted him with spells while his summons just wandered around aimlessly.
Enter in the village. See a weirdo driving a boat with a pipe? Him come closer. Ost beat hard and his name appears Finally understand this is a boss fight. Definitely the best boss fight of the game.
I was super excited when I found this boss the first time. Would have never expected such a concept in this game. Elden Ring is the game that just keeps on giving.
One of the easier bosses. Fun and creative. I killed him by ignoring the adds (boss actually kills his own adds... eventually). Focused boss, got him with blood loss. Easy peasy.
This bossfight was surprising, funny and fun. I fought him fair and square on the ground (or rather in the water) as a Prisoner with Soldiers of Godrick. To be honest if you let the skeletons overrun the narrow spots it can get tough getting to mr Mariner, but I beat him first try. A skeleton rowing a boat, trying to slam you with the boat itself or summoning a big ass tide merking everything in the vicinity - uniquely amazing.
Was walking around then "why tf i heard boss music" "why tf theres giant health bar" "where tf is the boss" then relaised fucking boss can row boat on land lol fun boss fight XD
@@zatoka08 the cemetery shade is actually a really cool idea for a boss They have low health but attack really quickly and build up bleed and poison so they can kill you quickly if you get too greedy
I remember running into this guy at low level and running away. For the longest time these guys were actually terrifying until I actually fought one and realized how easy it was. Cool looks go a long way
Even the skeletos put up a better challenge than him. He was just rowing his boat the boss music wasnt bcause of him but bcause the player is the boss 🤣
This was the first boss I beat in elden ring. The summoned skeletons that revive themselves, the range attacking reaper, and the attacks from the boss itself were frustrating when all of them hit me at once but I still managed.
I like the concept of the boatman just wanting to be left alone in peace by teleporting away without even attacking us the first time, showing that we are the assholes in this case
Did the devs succumb to the pleb gaming crowd and finally added a "casual" mode? Or am I totally mistaken and there is a hidden reason why this is considered "hard" gameplay when the so called Boss did 3-4 attacks for whole two minutes?
I remember the first time i got there and got aggro right after killing a innocent turtle, but i didn't saw him, it was my first "why do i hear boss music?" moment
What Mike said; if you’re familiar with the Witch of Hemwick, or the Crystal Sage in the 1st phase, then all you have to do is scour the area where the boss could be hiding until you’re ready to fight back.
@@teabow. He does have one point though: all the enemies are so beautifully animated, yet the player character uses modified versions of the same shitty idle and locomotion animations from DS1. It's a huge contrast.
