that's because we've been seeing this for a long time, and we've seen better graphics in the newer games. this is only special when you show it to someone with no gaming experience, but in the 21st century, it's not much.

Like... you press L-1 to aim, move the analog to move the gun and camera, press X to fire, all while you move the other analog stick to move you character, type thing. Where as God of War is just..... Press fuckin' Square and watch shit die.

It's most likely due to the context of the games, they know full well it's fantasy while GTA has a more grounded to reality feel. Either that or they just got used to the games being violent. Or both.

During the quarantine I've seen my retired my dad just sooo bored. Watching these elder videos makes me think that with the right training, like real baby steps, they could easily find a new hobby to make their days more entertaining, and hopefully provide some sort of anti-Alzheimer's therapy.
