@@namity As far as I was told, that's the best way to play them lately along with Lunalights so i'm not too shocked. I can respect that though

@@CodyYoshida I've recently been playing a mostly pure fur hire deck. it revolves around board wiping with Kaijus and preemptively negating opponent's monsters with imperm. setup the board and go to battle, then if it didn't OTK, go for either a Bagooska or Simorgh lockout in MP2

tbh the deck list was pretty bad and this was just a series of very fortunate draws lol. I don't have the accurate deck list because I deleted it a bit ago, but the main plan is abusing fur-hire's hoard strategy for bringing out Ra with a side plan of Draglubion into Numeron Dragon. This is completely off memory alone, but: MONSTERS 3x Filo 2x Donpa 2x Recon 2x Helmer 3x Beat 2x Bravo 3x Seal 2x Dyna 2x Rafale 1x Astral Kuriboh (specifically for draglubion) 1x Winged Dragon of Ra 3x Gameciel (mostly for board breaking, but also helps get out draglubion) 2x Danger! Thunderbird (also for draglubion) 1x Danger! Ogopogo (once more for draglubion) 1x Dinowrestler Pankratops 1x Ash Blossom 3x Maxx C SPELLS 3x Mayhem Fur Hire 3x Ancient Chant 1x Blaze Cannon 2x Soul Crossing 3x Forbidden Chalice 2x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Monster Reborn 1x Raigeki 1x Reinforcement of the Army 1x Harpies' Feather Duster 3x Pot of Prosperity TRAPS 1x Sun God Unification 1x Infinite Impermanence EXTRA DECK 2x Folgo 1x Shuraig 1x Rugal 1x Pentestag 1x Reliquished Anima 1x Linkuriboh 1x Topologic Zeroboros 1x Knightmare Cerberus 1x Knightmare Phoenix 2x Draglubion 1x Numeron Dragon 1x Heart-eartH Dragon 1x Heart-eartH Chaos Dragon I wouldn't build this deck exactly, especially if your planning to use this anywhere else but casually, but it should give some insight on it's goal. just the fact that it has a 60 card main deck should be an immediate red flag lol. first thing should be to just reduce the amount of cards. all of the xyz monsters as well as astral kuriboh and the danger! monsters could probably be cut from the deck if you just want to focus on Ra. Forbidden Chalice should probably be replaced by Forbidden Droplet, but unless you can confidently get Filo or Seal safely on the field, discarding your fur hires might not be worth the pay-off. Supporting Ra isn't much of a concern, but it may be worth it to have two copies in your deck just incase you top-deck it and can't get ancient chant in your graveyard. other cards I'd recommend for a deck like this are Ghost Ogre, Ra Sphere Mode, Called by the Grave, Wiz, Foolish Burial Goods, Abyss dweller, and Ferrijit. I'd also recommend using Simorgh Bird of Sovereignty with Apex Avian and Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds just to be toxic :)

it wasn't used in this duel, but it was for scenarios where i go into Verte Anaconda to bring out Meteor Black Comet Dragon. normal red-eyes and strong wind dragon for the fusion, then darkness metal for MCBD's damage effect (also somewhat consistently summonable when Rafale is on the field). this video's VERY outdated from from the decklist i'm playing more recently though (hopefully i can finish a video i'm currently working on that shows of the new deck...)

Perhaps he didn't want to play floodgates because of how gross they are. They are on the banlist for a reason after all.

fur hire floods the field with monsters that have decent stats. using ancient chant, Ra will gain all of their combined ATK and DEF, leading to a pretty beefy boss monster

@@NotAustin51 If that's what your going for, might be a good idea to take out the Soul Crossings and replace them with either Nib, or some more classic 'going second' cards (or just more Fur Hires for consistency). Soul Crossing is only really good if you have a critical mass of God Card Searchers so you can guarantee that you have one in hand when you draw SC. otherwise it's a massive brick in a deck that really *Really* wants to open multiple copies of Fur Hire cards. I know it feels awesome if you can land that fat Soul Crossing Tribute 3 and drop a Ra but I'm pretty sure most good players are going to either negate the SC or ash the ancient chant assuming you're going to add sphere mode (at least I think it can?) if you drop either on a full board. Plus Soul Crossing's restriction is suuuupper Not Cool for a deck that wants to chain summon little dudes all day.
