i closed my eyes Espen, and my upper body started to sway around like a Cobra caught in the *hypnotic* way the cobra does when the snakecharmer moves his instrument! Sooooo soothing!
What you said about no need for perfection is so true. A slightly "imperfect" sound is what makes the music sound so good, organic, real, touching. Mechanically perfect music lacks the feeling.
It was kind of "dead" when I got it, but I was a bit brutal with a small "flamethrower" so the skin shrinked. It might have become a bit brittle, but it sounds good. I did it with the risk of destroying the skin, but if so....I just put on a new one :)
Very inspiring ! Thanks for sharing Espen ! By the way, the Q&A disappeared from RU-vid, I couldn't make it live and was looking forward to seeing it. :(
