Elecraft K3 vs Yaesu FT-710 SSB Receive 

Yaesu hands down winner.

I’m glad I pulled the plug on the 710 should see it in a couple days hopefully! This is a good comparison most people don’t tune the rig in to what sounds best for them they simply try and put the level Dnr levels the same but they don’t understand that each rig is different and for the yaesu, the numbers just represent another noise reduction algorithm and it’s not a linear scale

Yaesu works better

The Ft710 is under a shelf while the K3 is out in the open. Audio is going to sound different
