The Elect Lady is mentioned in the bible 2 John. They were held in high regard by the Apostle John. It's in there twice where John refers to the woman as " elect " because she was a member of the universal church and believed in Jesus Christ. So really its just another word for a deep respect and honor. But today, people in the church have taken it so far to the left and think it's ok to just talk down to people and to think more highly of them selves . And she's still a church mother, regardless of what she said. Is she an elder in the church ? Yes 1 Timothy 3 : 1 - 7. Even though shes a Pastor and a Pastors wife ? Yes. Does the word say let the older women teach the younger women in the church? Yes Titus 2 : 4 - 8. So ma'am you are a church mother. Be blessed.
Im sick of all these titles. People are so puffed up and definitely not displaying humility at all. Its all about status, positions, and tiltes with people who called themselves Christ followers, when our Master dont require all this mess! None of it is biblical. Im sick of it!
@@buhrochemYall are “conditioned” to call people in their natural profession by their worldly “title”…you would say “Officer ___” or “Judge___” or “Doctor ____” but yet you have a problem with calling her by what she actually is and what God has called her to be which is a “PROPHETESS”…like come on apply what you do in a natural sense to also a church setting. I think she's addressing this because women in her church (out of envy and jealousy) are refusing to recognize and refer to her as Elect Lady/Prophetess and instead are calling her mother. She's letting them know their refusal to call her what she wants to be called doesn't change the facts- she is a Prophetess and Elect Lady whether they like it or not!

They are given those titles for a reason. Her age isn't relevant. Who said anything about age? Like she said in her correction and rebuke. She's not a mother. Obviously she doesn't fit the title for a reason and deserves to be respected for who she is. You need to stop being disrespectful to the woman of God.
