I agree with her. I don't know who came out with "it doesn't matter how you dress"". If you are a christian, it does matter how you dress, in the church and out.

I agree we women in particular need to make sure our clothes are modest not just for worship services but all the time. Our clothing shouldn't be flashy and loud.

I agree with modesty but I’m sorry most of these traditional Pastors/Bishops and First Ladies wear gaudy jewelry, flashy outfits, bling out hats (women) and zoot suits with colorful gators (men) is NOT of God The outward for most of these traditional black churches is distracting… I attended a seven day adventist church for a few months and they dress modest and covered up without all the extra foolishness

In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, since pastoring definitely includes preaching, teaching publicly, and exercising spiritual authority. God says to present yourself holy unto him. God looks at your spirit and cares nothing about what you wear. Such incorrect teaching it is sinful and blasphemous. God please have mercy on this woman and lead her to correctness and repentance. Amen!!

Why are you wearing jewelry when it says in the Bible not to wear gold or pearls but have a meek and quiet spirit
