Imagine the flawed mentality--a citizen can only exercise his/her rights if employed by a media conglomerate that uses Staples for their employees' shiny "press passes." Then says the folks are "claiming to be free press," followed by a camback and a phone call - violating two rules posted on the wall just inches from him. And we pay for this!
I saw your beautiful ID refusal on San J channel. Awesome, keep up the good work. It always shocks me how many officers refuse to admit their wrong and take the initiative to learn more about the laws and people's rights, that they serve. In ANY other profession they would be taken into HR and given one opportunity to improve their performance. Then they would be terminated.
The inability to apologize when one is clearly in the wrong is such a despicable character flaw. It is unbecoming when a person is so insecure as to know he is entirely mistaken but unwilling to admit it, apologize and move on. Just gross.
Instead of money for Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, illegal migrants, increased government budgets, etc etc…. money should be spent on nationally televised PSA’s about constitutional amendments and their meanings. Never gonna happen, but it should.
I cant fault the guy at the door he did what he thought was the right thing and then checked and was told back off, at that stage he didn't let his ego take over instead calmly left
I would have agreed if he had the integrity to say, "Sorry I held you up, I was mistaken." But I see where you're coming from since we're so used to being treated with disdain when we try to observe citizen-funded public servants in the course of their duties - pursuant to rights granted to free press, that it's a relative win that they arrived at the correct conclusion at all.
Typical condescending disdain regarding his elitist ignorance about Free Press, Checks & Balances. 📜 I thought WE kicked out King George III, long ago. This nation still runs amuck with Tories.
My church has actaully started issuing press placards, and when I use mine, I advise that I am part of a church press corps and crossing my rights as a journalist also violates my religious rights. People tend to be more worries about violating rights of religion than press for some reason.
Citizens have to sue for rights violations no matter how small since they are priceless.every small piece is important and one may be keystone holding all together
I would just like to let everyone know that I can issue you with " PRESS " credentials. Simply print out the word PRESS on a piece of paper, and I will endorse it for you. 😅😅😅
Walter Kronkite, Peter Jennings, and even Barbara Walters weren't required to have press credentials. Unfortunately, most poll volunteers are wonderful civil-minded people, but there are a lot of gossipy little know-it-alls, too.
@@rightsarentwrong The poll worker took a picture of them and was permitted to speak on his phone about them, both for official purposes. It was expressly authorized by law. These two are nothing more than uneducated troublemakers who are starved for attention and commit illegal acts.
You can't film people voting in the booth unless it's YOUR OWN vote. You can record the process and everything else cuz it's public. Love your work Reba! Keep it up. Was sent by a ton of other good people like you.
