A five-judge bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud dismisses SBI's plea seeking a deadline extension to disclose details on electoral bonds. CJI Chandrachud directs SBI to disclose the details by the close of business hours (5PM) of March 12, 2024 (tomorrow). CJI Chandrachud also directs ECI to publish the compiled information by March 15, 2024.

In Digitalised India it is possible to submit data in the stipulated time given by Supreme court. Good Judgment by our Supreme Court and our respectful and brave Judges.

Mr. Salve's arguments today were very weak. Saying that "We don't want to make a mistake and that's why give us 3 more months is the mockery of court's order. Never seen Mr. Salve on backfoot like this. However, I think that Mr. Salve could achieve what he wanted, I don't think SBI is going to give the fully transparent data. They will present one set of data with list of donors and amount and another set of data with list of parties who got donation and the amount. However, both the sets will have no matching, which means you won't know which donor has paid, how much money, to a particular party. This information will be of no use for public. Just wait, you will see this golmal by SBI.

The only pillar of democracy that is not yet totally shaken by Modi, Amit Shah Government seems to be SC. Earnestly hope, wish, SC judges are able to see things constitutionally, factually and scientifically for the total welfare of all the people; without leaning towards their personal beliefs ( beliefs may be on anything - God & no God, people, theories) driven decisions.
