A Mixtape made for one of my friends as a gift. Now available to listen to on youtube. It's a colllection of music from KPM, Music De Wolfe, Bruton and other music libraries.
Well said.. and i used to really dislike elevator music when i was a child of the early 80s.. now hearing this peaceful music of a time gone be makes me cry☮️💖🕊️
No one here is critical, but show me a critic of contemp orch (in this case "electra stride") & I'll show you someone who just doesnt get it But its no puzzle. Its no secret that the better you feed your body, the healthier your body. Likewise, your mind. The quality of what you feed your mind determines its health, too. My generation was there. We got it. We were surrounded by this music in so many places; any space instantly became an upbuilding place to be simply by playing easy listening/ contemp orch at low volume. Staying relaxed throughout a workday & unwinding again at day's end isnt just healthy, its essential for your mental & for your physical health Somehow this popular connection between mind body & music was forgotten as we entered the 90's. Im convinced it was simply because pop, new wave, & MTV overshadowed & eclipsed it. So conversely, my generation is also responsible for causing easy listening stations to disappear; rapidly replaced by the pop & new wave (radio stations) music we had our heads stuck in. By the time we were old enough to understand our choice of music caused that, it was too late to undo the damage 😪 Thankfully though, there are a handful of surviving easy listening stations in detroit, chicage, & one in texas
Wow now this is a holiday gift for us all….. perfect cheerful music as the family ensembles around the kitchen….. These tracks always get the nostalgic memories going Cheers to you and your magic 🥂

@@TheStretchypantsmast pretty sure he explains it somewhere on his channel but this is what stores and business use to use instead of plugging a radio into speakers, the music on these devices was recorded on a special type of roll to be cheap so it would be coust effective, the songs themselves were made specifically for business and stores to make a customer feel welcome and enjoy their visit.
Because on one side, the rolled up tape has a larger diameter, so it goes slower, and the side with a smaller diameter goes faster. As the tape goes from one side to the other the diameters of both reels change.
A smaller diameter wheel will spin faster (RPM) than a larger wheel to cover the same distance. Likewise, these reels must also spin at different speeds with the take-up reel spinning faster until the tape is balanced with the same length on each before spinning slower for the tape to remain taut against the heads that read the magnetized information contained (music).

The problem with this channel is that all too often, it goes into annoying jazz after the nice beginning.
