This is a very nice synopsis of e-bikes. Anyone considering entering the wonderful world of e biking can trust this presentation in my h opinion. If you get one, be prepared to want to ride it everyday. I commute everyday and use it for most errands. I have 3600 miles on a Aventon Level 1. The throttle is so nice to have in traffic because it gives nice acceleration thru busy intersections. I would NEVER ride it without a left bar end mirror. One topic not discussed is cadence vs. torque sensors. I note that Aventon puts torque sensors on most (I think) of their bikes now. I think about that a lot on my rides, and for me, I’m coming down as a cadence fan. Maybe because I’m a young 70 yr old, and my experience with torque sensors is only limited to a handful of shorter demo rides. Cheers!
