We had the absolute honor and privilege to talk with Kevin and Nico from @electriccallboy on Beef Vegan Presents here in Tucson and not only were they the coolest, humblest and realest dudes ever, they invited us up to see them for their sold out show at @thevanburenphx 😲. To say that our faces were sufficiently melted into neon liquids and our bodies exploded into chaotic dopamine fireballs of bliss before having to drive home would be an understatement. Both openers @conquerdivide and @solenceofficial blew our minds 🤘 and I'm stoked to be a new fan.
Core memory unlocked. I don't think we've ever seen anything like it. To seamlessly switch between pop, techno and metal was a wonder to behold. The energy was unreal, their authenticity was undeniable and their gratitude is what wraps it up. We cannot thank them enough and it was really, really special to sit down and talk with them about touring and life after the show. Finally got some answers to Oktoberfest 🤣
These guys have worked their asses off to get where they are and they don't take any of it for granted. If you haven't heard of Electric Callboy, you have now. And if you ever get the chance to see them live, don't hesitate. Simply put, they're the cure for depression here in the US and we're glad they hopped the pond to show us the way.
