I attempt to drive a rare 2012 Coda EV on a 2900 mile road trip across America. It has a bad cell in the battery pack and can only go about 50 miles if driven really slow. The trip starts in Marina Del Ray, CA and the goal is to end in Cape Canaveral, FL.

You are braver than me! Ive been daily driving my Coda for 2 years, ive considered doing roadtrips in it but ive slept enough times in the car at charging stations to know how painful it is! If you're ever in Colorado or Arizona, i'd gladly replace those bad cells for you, no charge!

Battery conditioning and range. Gotta work around 50 miles and 2.5 hrs to charge. Seems more like a small chore activity vehicle vs cross country. Best of luck with chargers, weather, road grade. Lots of route pre-planning.

i love the codas there super neat cars, its a shame they never really took off... say buddy, my ex girlfriend had an 06 prius, she drove it like a madman lol i drove it like a grandma an loved it, her was run into the ground about with 300k miles, everything still worked great, it did use alot of oil tho, whats your thoughts on the one you have/had?

This car was in freaking Cali. It's never used large amount of Coal power in it's entire life. The entire South Western US region has Limited lacking NATURAL RESERVES of Coal. You couldn't even get enough Coal for power Generation even if you wanted it. You FAIL at geography. All you did was copy and paste brainwashing propaganda.
