Really enjoyed the video Jeff. I knew what a cigar box guitar is, but that was about all. So I learn something new today. You did an awesome job on it my friend ! When I was around 10 years old my elderly neighbor built fiddles, all work was done with hand tools. He would shape the body with broken flat glass, and I used to watch him for hours. He did a great job and they looked like a store bought violins. Thanks for sharing !
I did sell them, along with custom amps, for many years. I just don't have the time anymore to keep doing it. Thanks for taking a look, I appreciate it!

@@tombankwel4822 Sorry for your loss Tom. Our condolences to you and your family. We will be back to our regular videos soon. I've just been finishing up my brother's estate. Have a great day my friend!
Absofreakin awesome! That looks and sounds amazing. I run a Midas 1 sound board at my church. I would love to hear that plugged into a sound system with good subs pushing around 95 to 100 db. I’ll record this coming Sunday and post it and tag you.
You did a good job. I use a drumstick as a slide on string bass or guitar.I have a video performance of each on my channel. I like your choice of materials such as the sink strainers.and the oak neck. It sounds good.
Super nice stick n a box! Did you angle the neck? I did on mine, but not quite enough. The strings move around on the bridge, despite having field grooves into it (when you pick aggressively).
You can turn the "biscuit" that the threaded rod is on slightly and get it pretty close. I've built them before with a Gibson style bridge with the adjusters. This one is a little more primitive. It gets the job done though.
