You got me into building CBGs several years ago! I have enjoyed all of your videos. Thought I might get you hooked on another homemade instrument, the strumstick. I have made several of these for the neighborhood kids (and myself). I use stripped and sanded cigar box lids for the top and bottom. The neck/ body comes out of basically the same lumber as a CBG neck. They are really fun to make and sound great. You can also add all sorts of pickups. Del, how did it sound unplugged? I've got an endless supply of pallets & some have some pretty thin boards. I guess I'll have to try it and see what I get.

Try magnesium sulphate paste for infected finger, I was a butcher for 50 years and works well, get it from the pharmacy. Great guitar mate , I’m going to give it a go 👍
Premier ended before I could respond to Steve Vaughn 's comment in the live chat about the "hurdy gurdy" house in Dayton NV when I remembered that was a term used as a euphemism for a brothel 🤣 a number of "establishments" had what they called hurdy gurdy girls, I doubt if any of them actually played the instrument.. there is a lot of ebb and flow and mix ups in history 😉
