Just spitballing here, but to me, running the clutch using the pushbutton to disengage would seem more natural to operate. If you used a relay that requires an external ground for the coil, you could switch one side with a Normally closed pushbutton, and the other with a normal on-off switch to arm the system. Just a thought.
Never thought about the electric clutch.the head work is what really helps. Mechanic of 45 years,have built most everything.Jb weld the corners, straighten the intake,even 1° is a difference. Adjustable timing Makes the power but lots of heat and it will blow at one point. But esp dragging only needs to run a short time.
