Them ducks seen that spread and they were like " HA! Yeah.. OK" lol. Enjoyed the video man. We don't use spinners during big duck. By the time they make it all the way down to southeast Louisiana they've seen way to many of them.
I use a green wing teal mojo and it works 90% of the time in big duck season. But your right about the baby or big mallard mojos. Them ducks be like(look at them hunter down there,ok guys we gona make them think we’re gona land in then be like nope haha gotem)😂 every time . Btw hunt southeast Texas so I feel your pain😂
Quick question. How does y’all’s public land work? Like in Texas we have a 50$ annual permit. I live right on the tx/la border and going to get an non-res license to hunt Sabine nwr because the ducks are stacked in there.
@@TheHuntingking it’s $15 for a state wma permit. I’m not sure about Sabine because it’s a national reserve. I hunt deer on the Jean lafitte national park and that permit is free. You just need to show them you have your hunting license and the give you a permit and all the rules they keep adding to. You’re probably going to need to call then to make sure how it works there.

Too MUCH motion, even for Kansas birds. And, you guys really crushed that poor spoonbill. Poor thing flew right into a wall of steel!
Second day of duck opener up hear in Wisconsin we had 6 mojos and 5or6 doz decoys on a public marsh and just did the dirty. I would love to see a single shot 12 or 10 gauge challenge. Do it like our grandparents did.🦆
Do a multi-species limit, try to drop a different species each shot..lol if you haven't already. I do a lot of solo hunting, I be trying to get em all.
Bobby Could wee see a Pintail Decoy challenge. I have been hunting for some years now. There was a spread I've seen used by an old man on our public refuge. It was just Six Super Mag Pintail drakes. He always has birds just Bomb in. So I challenge is Six Super Mag Pintail Drakes !No motion!
Lil overkill. The idea to make that work is it takes a lil more realism. I had hunts where guys with big spreads couldn't get'em to finish. I put a pulsator,3 quiver butts a mojo and a jerk cord and had my limit in a hour. They were pissed.i showed up set up 200 yards next to the levy and all my birds were feet down in the coys. Do a video of hunting with 2 3/4 in shells. I’m curious on if paying the little bit extra for the 3 in are worth it. I’ve always heard mixed answers on this topic.
what choke should i be using, just started duck hunting and been using an improved and lead shot for clays and can hit like 80% of them but when I get out on the water i use 2 shot steel and an improved and can’t hit anything, anyone know why? any help would be appreciated
Field and stream hunt duck hunt followed by small game ..all the public land areas we hunt usually can provide ducks and squirrels and the occasional rabbit.

I think the code says a 4” sphere cannot pass through them, and the look considerably wider spaced than that. I’m not knocking on you, just want you to limit any liability to your new business.

2 3/4 shells only ...that what I was using when I first started with (plus that was the only kind I could shoot until 2 years ago when u got a new shotgun)

Hey Bob I think a good challenge would be to make a decoy spread with duck species that have already migrated. Pullin birds with decoys that are from early season species or species that don't even fly through your area. Or even use a big water species of decoy in a small pond.
