Fun fact: I'm from TN and have been to the distillery. It is indeed a dry county and selling alcohol is illegal, but you can still buy a bottle of Jack at the gift shop. They are selling you the glass bottle for say $40 and are giving you the whiskey inside the bottle for free. That's the loop hole 😉
You know, I honestly don't get why there are any dry counties in this day and age except for the super duper religious counties and states(I'm referring to YOU Utah). It just doesn't make sense to me. People can still find a way to get alcohol. They might as well go with the flow and make some money off of the sales.
Derrick Foster You can do that at a lot of bars or in nicer restaurants bring your own wine. They charge you a "corking fee" or bottle fee at the bars. All depends on the state though.

I made some of this for a Christmas party in a 5-gallon Igloo cooler. I modified the recipe a bit. In addition to what was featured here, I added a 750mL bottle of Jack Tennessee Fire; and in lieu of the apple juice concentrate (couldn't find any at Publix), I used a 1L jug of a New York-made Apple Cider. To chill, I added about two pounds of cubed bag ice and gave it a swirl to help open the Bourbon flavors. It came out tasting a lot like Apple Jacks cereal. So, in essence, I made Electric Apple Jack? 🤔 I know... I know... Apple Jack is a brandy that's made with fermented apples, but this was just as good, taking less effort. I told everybody it was Electric Apple Jack. 🍎 🍏

Did you know Mountain Dew was originally created to be a mixer….and coincidentally…specifically used to be a mixer for dark liquors like Jack Daniels 😂 …. hence why Sky said it’s a good combo 😂
I don't drink at all as I can't stand the smell or taste of alcohol. I haven't found a drink that I can keep down yet, but I'm always willing to try new stuff. I love this channel, though. You are just so fun and charismatic to watch.
It just takes time and continued attempts. Trust me, I was the same way until I was like 22 lol. I just kept trying to drink when my friends were, and eventually, I developed an appreciation for the flavor. It's different, but it's good in its own way. Sort of like black licorice or something.
A dry County is good for alcoholics or people wanting to quit and rehab themselves in. Drink responsible and have a wonderful christmas festive season.
@@robertlowe6367 I had someone ask me how I can buy weed when it's illegal. 😂 Medical is legal in my state, but they're relatively lenient about recreational (same difference as far as the weed itself), just depends on what kind of cop you run into. Some will completely ignore the smell of weed while others will falsely claim that they smell weed just so they can root through your vehicle.
Interesting fact,, the guys that invented Mountain Dew made it specifically as a mixer for Bourbon so as weird as it sounds Bourbon & Dew is one of my absolute favorite quick easy cocktails......... try it people

Yup gallon bottle, whole bottle of Jack, whole bottle of pucker, 1apple , I can frozen apple concentrate, fill the rest with Mountain Dew. Where u watching?’ Lol
I thought it was a dry county indeed I am right but I didn’t know they did go to the gift shop that’s cool they live in Idaho and everything I’ve heard about Lynchburg is a dry county but that’s cool. I like that stay thirsty and stay tipsy, y’all have a good one.
Hell in Ireland they don't even sell regular Mtn Dew anymore only the sugar free stuff and let's just say when you remove sugar from a drink it tastes awful I remember one Christmas our local Tesco was selling 3lt bottles of coca cola idk why they did this where the hell they even acquired it what I do know is that was the only year they did it now in a shop called Homesavers you can find a 3lt bottle of seven up free
