In this video, I share the unboxing of the Kitchoff electric kettle and explain how an electric kettle works and how to repair it. We also see hot thermostat of the electric kettle works and when you need to replace the thermostat switch.

Heating element, it has a conductive element inside laminated with ceramic.

There is no negative and positive in AC. Only phase and neutral in AC.kettle work on AC.

if its moulded you can't , you will need special heating to remove it. you can try some options like fitting another heating element of larger size over it. or piercing and inserting a rod type heating element. Not for basic home users to do. take help of expert electrician.
