I’m hunting down the amps required. I’d like to run this with my little generator. I’m thinking about an in-line capacitor to handle the initial start then the little gen can run it all night
Hi, an alternator with a 75 amp is recommended. It will work and perform very well. If you have more doubts, contact our sellers at 888-907-0705. Thank you.
Installed this on my truck and right away having issues! Charged the system with the recommended amount of Freon and it just blows how and the pressure will never drop
Can you please advise what are the requirements on the vehicle to replace the mechanical compressor by your electric one ? - How much alternator amps rating ? - Does it effect the engine performance by making alternator works harder ? - I have Honda civic 92, are high and low pressure hoses of it fitting pretty well with your electric compressor? The last question how can I purchase it..
Hi, thanks for contacting us. - Don´t have the requirements to change; you can change your conventional compressor for the electric model. - An alternator with 75 amperes is recommended. - It will perform very well, don´t worry about that. To ask more questions and buy, contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
I have a 1985 Mustang LX 5.0 WITHOUT factory air conditioning can i use this system on my vehicle ? Would the compressor be stored in my trunk ? Thanks
Hi Mike, yes, you can use this on your vehicle, you just will need to make some adaptations. As you don´t have the system on your car, you need the all system, not the compressor only. Feel free to contact our sellers on the phone: +1 (888) 907-0705.
I got a question which am having a difficult time finding an answer for, am having a 1974 VW Bus and looking for the best air compressor that would handle the cabin area inside and what is the recommended power shall I have to keep running that device for at least 6 hours with engine off? - air compressor specs - power consumption Thanks
Hello, you can put our electrical kit, it will perform very well in your vehicle. We have the kit that will fit perfectly for your vehicle, don't hesitate to contact us at the phone (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
Hello greetings from Greece! Could you tell me how I’m I supposed to install it in a car that never meant to have a\c before? I mean what else should I need? The car has no control panel nor ac buttons in it!! Any help would be appreciated!! Plus I’m from Greece, do you send them overseas if it need to?
Hi Dehard, how are you? Yes, you will need a whole kit, not the compressor only. We have a lot of clients that put our kit, in the same situations as you. Let me know, do you prefer an electric or conventional kit? You can contact our seller team at +1 888 907-0705. Thank you.
I have A/C with an electric compressor in my ‘64 Beetle. It works fine although the under dash control unit is a little primitive and makes it difficult to control the temperature of the air. I have/had other 3 electric cars: BMW i3, Tesla model S & Tesla model X. Driver inputs to electric car HVAC are merely “suggestions” to the systems in my opinion. I can set the climate control to 72F and it can still blow cold air and sometimes I’ll have to set it to 80F to get warm air then, after a while, I can lower the set temp back to 72F when it starts blowing warm air. Same is true when wanting cool air. The narrator here needs to slow down his speaking. It was hard for me to understand some of the technical things while trying to translate via his accent. By the time I got his point, he was two points past.
We have two models of under dash available. One includes the heater core, and the other is just for cooling. We suggest you check your heater core to ensure it works fine. You can find our heat and cool under dash on this link below: qualyair.us/products/universal-under-dash-3-speed-12v-air-conditioning-evaporator-heat-cool If you are not considering changing parts but just adjusting your controls, I recommend you check this with your mechanic. P. S: Thank you for your feedback. We will make sure we adjust ourselves to offer a better experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion.
@@bobtomica9614 You know, I have no idea. The car is currently in Texas and we are spending the holidays in California. When I go back to Texas in January, I’ll ask the shop which did the install what the draw is. They are also going to turn down the cooling by 5% or so as there is quite a bit of condensation dripping down onto my feet right now. They had that problem with a subsequent install and that adjustment solved the condensation issue.
The electric compressor will perform as equal to a conventional model. The difference is that the electric compressor is connected to the battery and not the engine and we recommend an alternator with 75 amp. Feel free to contact our sellers at 888-907-0705. Thank you.

Any chance to replace an existing belt driven compressor to an electrical one? Wonder if is possible to replace my van ac compressor to run, specially while parked, from my EcoFlow Delta Pro. Delta Pro has a 12v 30A output Anderson connector.
Hi, yes, you can use our electric compressor, you will need to do some adaptations only. Don´t hesitate to contact our sellers at (888) 907-0705. Thank you.
Thanks for these infos you gave in this video, but I doubt the electrical ac cop. could handle my place's high temprature that reachs 52 C°. This is my major concerning about it. Thank you again.
The external temperature should not affect your A/C System performance. The compressor is expected to be capable of handling such high temperatures. However, we recommend you take this unit to an experienced professional who can guarantee the correct execution of the job. If you can put this together, we are confident you will have good A/C for such high temperatures.
Seth, I’ve got one in my electric drive ‘64 Beetle. I can hear it, but I would rather have it and hear it than not have it. Of course, I’m in Texas. LOL! A few days ago, I gave a test ride to an old friend from California. As we took off he said, “The only reason I’m in this car is the A/C!”
Hi, thanks for your feedback. Our team will improve for future videos. If you have any doubts about the compressors, contact our sellers at 888-907-=0705; they will help you. Thank you.
