I'm glad these new blades solved the cutting problem. And even better that you're still able to get a good cut at the lower blade speed. That's awesome. That will certainly help the batteries last longer. 👍 I stopped by my local Lowes and looked at one in the flesh. They had two in stock. I had two initial impressions that surprised me. One was how large the rear tires were. They are considerably larger than the ones on my John Deere. And two, I was not impressed with the feel of the steering linkage. It had a lot of slop in it and felt like it wouldn't last very long. I thought maybe it was just the one I was first sitting on but the second one was just the same. I'm looking forward to your video where you address that. Thanks for your real world no nonsense review of this new technology.

The sloppy front end comes standard on this 1st generation ECO lawn tractor. I purchased mine at Lowe's in Michigan and when I talked to a Lowe's rep over the phone about the 1.5 inch play in the steering wheel he said that is on the manufacture. With that slop the quiet electric drive motor is over run with a very noisy front end clanking sound. Really annoying when the blades are off pulling a garden and hearing: clank. clank, clank, clank like a 10 year old garden tractor..... My complaint to the warranty department has been ignored and my mower has only 4 hours on it purchased May 1, 2024. The influencers of these machines here at RU-vid should have shared the obvious with their viewers. As if they have stocks in the company. All is good on my tractor except for the sloppy noisy steering.

@@daveshoraceway It seems like an easy fix. EGO needs to address this issue. No one likes to draw negative attention from their neighbors like they're using the grandson's toy to do their yardwork. Or feel like they're working with junk equipment. EGO, I hope you're listening.

Battery life does take a hit but I have quite a few hills.

Those previous blades still have a lot of life left in them. They can be easily sharpened (over and over) and used for a long time.

I bought a tractor Jack for maintenance. Got it off Amazon, much safer than the way you did it.

As a guy who use to run into burning buildings, I tend to have a strange safe switch lol You are correct getting the right equipment for your job is best practice. I did a video on those tractor lifts, and they seem to work well for people.

So the ZTR blades are the same for the TR? What else for the ZTR is the same? Mulch plug? Bagger? Getting my TR today and cant find much for TR accessory wise in Canada.

The bagger is not out yet for the T6 side shoot, I am not sure about the plug, the best thing would be to go to the store Ace or Lowes and ask a rep. The Ego phone app only has the blades listed as accessories for now.

Do you have any plans of getting the T6 bagger attachment and demoing that on the channel?

I have a 3rd tractor with a bagger attachment, and I only use it to feed the chickens lawn scraps as a treat. Best lawn practice is to leave the grass on the lawn to allow it to break down and feed the grass.

It was on the other side; the ejection blade was the one that was still looking good.

Is it so hard to remove the mowing deck that you decided to jack up the tractor?

Looked easy to take the deck off based on the instructions, but much easier to jack it up. It is so light that lifting the front end was easy mode.

@@TarkisZOneProductions I like the fact that it is so light. That will make it easy to take it places to mow other peoples yards when need be. Two guys should be able to easily pick it up and throw it into the back of a pickup no problem. 👍

@@escheidl I think if you strap it and have two guys in the truck bed lifting while one guy lifts the front with the batteries removed, it would be easy mode.

@@TarkisZOneProductions I was just thinking of lifting the front wheels up onto the edge of the tailgate (batteries removed of course) and then two guys picking it up by the rear fenders and rolling it into the bed. Is the back end too heavy for that?

Small Sticks and think weeds I think was what caused it. I have no rocks other than little pebbles up by the road. I mowed the same areas with new blades with no issues.
