The track is a metaphor for intense, passionate emotions and danger when in the presence of romance. The lyrics refer to the powerful energy felt when two people come together, the sparks that fly, and the uncontrollable intensity of the "flame" that's ignited. The chorus of the song warns of the danger and excitement of these emotions and encourages the listener to embrace them and not back away. The song celebrates the power of falling in love and encourages the listener to be open to the thrill and peril of it.
Ikr, I read the OP comment and thought!? REALLY!? A METAPHOR no. You don't say!? That being said this song Always gives me a cheesy beefy burrito feel. Definitely dollar menu all the way
Actually I believe one of the members of this band said it wasn't Jack White. Just a mechanic who won a contest they put out. I could be mistaken though

@@litttlecake Actually scratch that, they joked about it being a local automechanic, but Dick Valentine said that the band just asked Jack White because they thought it'd be funny, and this was before he had his own big break. By Valentine's own admission, he owes Jack White his band's success because of this song, and he thinks he would probably never had gotten the chance to work with him after White Stripes made it big.
I want the Fantastic Four and the Guardians of the Galaxy to either fight each other or team up and fight intergalactic threats with this song in the background
Honestly, Jack White needs to stop thinking he's too cool for school, and start performing this song, he's phenomenal here, even if it's a silly ditty and not serious brooding rock.
I just forwarded both this and the Les Rythmes Digitales mixes, because I love both and I think she will too! She's into Death Metal and I'm a House Mutant, but we tend to agree when things are beyond medical "taste"
Yeah, he sings the scondary vocals though it's never been publicly said. It's one of those worst-kept secrets since they did everything to deny it was him, but hiding such an iconic voice is damn near impossible.
