Anthony what is powering that truck mount in the video and is it included in the package? Also do you mean spare parts can be purchased at like Home Depot or Lowes or any of those stores
the machine can be plugged into 2 circuits (800spsi version) in the home or a 5000 watt generator. generator is not included. No these parts are not that universal, I'm talking any shop that deals with portables or truckmounts.
Actually we have done exactly that before, but remeber you are marrying yourself to a generator at the point, which looses you alot of benefits of electric truckmounts, I might suggest 3 lx motors that could be run 2 or 3 motors, that will give you greater flexibility. All 3 vacs 350cfm, 17.5" lift according to mytee.
Well like truckmounts, they have areas that can be damaged by freezing, so anti freeze through the machine at night ? heating blanket or some other device maybe. We are in San diego so we aren't the experts on that topic. It doesn't include installation, yes space saver version is available and may be seen at out website as well as youtube video. optimumfloorcare.com
Hi, how long do these last because i heard things about this and supposedly they break after a year. What if something goes wrong where can I purchase spare parts? What if it stops functioning? Around how many hours do some parts or the whole thing stops functioning and after it doesn't function do I just throw it away or is it expensive to fix. How can one tell when it is about to stop functioning as well? Also in the video where are you getting the electricity from and is that included in the package?
Good evening Bianca, Durability and low maintenance costs are one of the benefits to the electric truckmounts. You will spend more money year after year maintaining the Gas powdered truckmounts. The repairs on the electric are inexpensive and easy, most people will be able to do a majority of their own repairs. The parts are all very universal, so that will not be an issue. Breaking down in a year, not likely, but it does depend on maintenance, anyone can break a machine in short time if they don't understand the dos and don'ts of their equipment, same with the gas units.
ETMs are usually low cost and things won't break that easily, i am running one and i am still using my dual vacs more then 3 years, very low maintenance.
Yes that's true, in fact we have done a 4 motor version as well. The problem is the power. The way it's built in it's stock configuration, you can run on 2 cords. When you add more vacuums, you add more cords, or marry yourself to a generator, and if you are married to a generator, you loose some of the advantages of an ETM
@@LoudStereoTINYDICK Yes it is possible, it adds about $850 to the price. If you would like to order one, I suggest you call the shop M-F 8am-5pm PST (619) 422-7233, ask for Tony
Why Yes Mitch, if you search optimum electric truckmount on you tube you can see a video on a transit connect, in this install we used the unit that is pictured in this video. We are putting together a new space saving version that will have integrated aluminum fresh water/recovery tank of 23/25 gallons capacity that will be above the unit giving you a lot more room for other items in the van like a buffer or portable or generator. for one client, we figured we could put a generator of sufficient size to power unit, a vacuum reel, and a portable in a transit connect. Also visit our website at optimumfloorcare.com.
Hey Paul, we can ship the unit to you, installation is not difficult, we would be happy to support you through the process. Your other option would be to bring it to a local dealer for installation. Can't speak for other shops, but it is around a $400 job. Hope this helps
Sounds good . Heat no problem with the little giant pressure either the issue is the suction, ni where near not even an entry level gas power truck mount and the electric motors are not as durable. I still have my original truck mount from 25 years ago when I started and the blower and pump still original, the way things are going this electric machines might be the future. I won’t be part of it .
We Have the Mytee ETM for $5495 (MY-93), we also have the (OP-12) vacuum with (Sim-5) pressure washer with heat that will become a truckmount, and that one is under $5k for both.they can all be seen on our website Optimumfloorcare.com, use these part#'s in the search window.
