You can buffer attacks in Tekken, frame perfect attacks are not as impossible to hit as they seem, but if you don’t use the buffer system it might as well be a black flash.
@@crackededge9351im new to tekken and fighting games in general, im about ready to give up on hwoarang cause I dont want to put too much time into the character if I dont feel like i can ever get jfsr consistently. How do I take advantage of buffer?
the greatest character of all time King has JF windows on his Forward QCF throws, but they only add 5 more damage. Good thing he’s so awesome and sexy or else I’d be mad
I wouldn't recommend that for beginners though. If they ever want to switch over to other mishimas, the muscle memory is fucked. Probably better to do the full input then learn the f, df one after you got that solid. Plus, its harder to do on pad over fightstick or hitbox, especially for ps5 controllers.
@@johnsonjunior547 well thats extra for new players. mist is so much faster and can electric punish from a low. i dont recommend it to people like me who use heihachi since T3 😂. the transition for new electric input is not easy.
For every other just frame moves, what makes PEWGF hard is the DF2 timing. Demoman from Paul with blue spark is a just frame move that is more consistent than PEWGF. Both are just frame move but PEWGF is harder because of the timing cue. For Demoman you have to wait for each move to execute and Paul’s Demoman animation is slow enough to be timed perfectly. Kazuya’s PEWGF just frame goes DF2 ➡️⬇️↘️+2️⃣ or DF2 ➡️↘️+2️⃣. The timing for just frame is between DF2 and the 13-frame electric. Yes, it must be the 13-frame not the 14-frame electric which is the EWGF ➡️N⬇️↘️+2 or FNDF+2. Not also the Wind God Fist move lol. The way that PEWGF is executed is you execute DF2 wait for the electric animation to disappear on the centre of the screen and you immediately execute the 13-frame EWGF. It might seem easy but it took me around six months to finally execute one and more. The timing cue relies heavily on the animation. I made this comment to give further insights to Tekken beginners for Tekken 7. Also, in Tekken 8, there’s a feature in practice mode that list your moves with the frame of that move you executed. I think thatll help newcomers for their timing these just frame moves. Easy Just Frame: Demoman Relies on each move executed from Paul to be seen by the player. Hsrd Just Frame: PEWGF Relies on the electric animation and the player’s ability to spot this and perfectly time the 13-frame electric. Hope you could do both ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Way easier way to do df2 PEWGF, wait till your opp's knee touches the floor, crack out an electric (OTGF style, ignoring the d input going straight to df)
The thing is how it's presented in the combo, it says you gotta wait on star but in prevous games it was displayed as a quarter circle move, like you gotta do it with stick and draw this trajectory with it
A star isn't really waiting, it's more or a 1 frame neutral input, where you input no direction. The funniest thing is that crouch dash moves do not require the neutral input, while something like Bryan Jet Upper has no star in it but absolutely requires it.
my warcraft 3 youtuber makes a video about my fav fighting game? damn. Edit: ops my mistake but still I was already subscribed so l thought its grubby or wtii becuz of the peon orc pfp, probably subbed because of tekken
I find that by trying to make the down to down-forward part "shorter" it works for me. , like my thumbs is less engaged towards the Forward part of the Down+Forward It's like instead of going F, D, D+F+2 you go F, D, D+f+2 it kinds of clicks. I compared to my old way of trying it (and failing it) that felt like I was doing a D+F that felt more engaged towards Forward. Does it make sense what I'm trying to say? Stop the motion sooner and you'll press 2 sooner and in fact at the same time as df Oh and also you got to perform the whole move very fast. Almost as fast as you humanly can
For pad, try mapping 2+3 to a left shoulder button, rest your index on the button, pinch your grip to press the shoulder button at the same time as the df input. Easy electrics all day with Kaz. The game will default the input to a RP, so you don’t mess up the rest of your controls.
