I was going to ask the same question but since many did and I saw your response, I won't. But I will say, Dr. Biezen, that you do a great job at explaining these topics. I spend many hours searching for material to supplement my EE courses and you are without a doubt at the top. A couple come close but 99% are horrible and just a waste of my time to watch and try and understand. You are clear and thorough. I subscribed, I thumbs up every video I watch, and I recommend you to any classmate that struggle.

First of all, my wife puts in way more effort into producing these videos (behind the scenes) than I do presenting the lectures, so the bulk of the thanks should go to her. Not all playlists are complete yet, and we have to continue working on completing some of the playlists, this being one of them. We hope to do that in the future.

Greetings Dr. Biezen your videos are awesome, I learn a lot from them... thanks a million :) One advanced math concept which does not contain much resources is tensor calculus and analysis, I would greatly appreciate it if you started a series on this topic (and I'm sure many others would as well). The sources I've seen make it seem extremely complex and don't do any examples for practice, as appose to your teaching style which makes things much easier to understand.

First of all thank you very much for all of your efforts, I have found answers for most of my questions by watching your videos, you are absolutely amazing. I have one question regarding the equation that you used when you were finding a0. You mentioned that you are going to use 1/T instead of 2/T and I really couldn’t understand why did you do that ? Because in the end the answer will be different, isn’t it necessary for us to multiply by 2 in the end of our calculations. Thank you very much one more time.

Dear sir, a very good video smoothly explaining the fourier series. however I see that in the 3rd line the limits of the last expression look like from 0 to 2 while you said that its from 0 to T. Maybe its just by mistake.

Hello Professor...I am not sure if this was addressed already in the comments below, I tried reading all of them but I don't believe I saw what I am about to ask. In video 14 of this series, you said that ao = 0 and an = 0 in odd functions and we have to solve for bn. However in this example, you label the function as odd you get a value for the first term ao=A/2. Is there a mistake in one of the videos, they seem to be at odds with one another (no pun intended), Thanks again sir.

@MichelvanBiezen
@MichelvanBiezen 8 лет назад
It is only an "odd" function about the line y = A/2 not about the t-axis. If you work it out the normal way, not using the "odd function trick" then you'll get the same answer.
