Hey Joe! Been combing your videos on Pitco fryers, just not sure which one is the correct one. So when I go lit the pilot, its on but the second i let go, it goes off. I pressed the hi limit but i dont hear the clicking sound like your videos do. When i turn the knob on the thermometer, i can hear a little click (but i think i always hear that when i turn the knob). The thermostat/thermopile thing that sits in the fryer is quite clean no caked on gunk from another video i saw of yours. Any recommendation or help you can give would be of great help?
@@finsotgrohiik59 if it won’t even hold the pilot I would say to remove all the other wires from the valve and just run the two thermopile wires to the PP terminals. If it still doesn’t hold you have a bad thermopile or gas valve itself. Obviously I’d suspect the thermopile. The reason for removing the other wires is if there’s a “short” Ona millivolt system or just kills the whole thing. So you can have a wiring issue or a terminal blade touching a metal housing and it’ll all drop out. Lemme know what you find out
Thanks to modern medicine not exactly. My thumb was de-gloved at the knuckle. It twisted off the skin and meat but left the bone. Severed all the nerves so it was shock but not painful. It was reattached and surgeries done to replave the severed tendons so I have full mobility but no feeling in it. Fun stuff
